Hope you know Nigeria tops the list of asylum claimants in Canada and they already know Nigerians are making up stories. Just tread carefully.

The OP should try the Student path to any country and will be fine.

This is what baffles me about comments like this. What happens after studies? Is the studies going to be forever? If Op goes to Europe as a Student, he may eventually end up marrying the locals to get residency same with the US( except he studies a professional course). For a married non professional like him the only best study destination is Canada because of their merit based Immigration system

God punish them
vladimiros:

for the people in this thread telling him to invest the money in Nigeria.

Please, i use God take God beg you, don't be unfortunate... someone has that kind of money and wants to run.

you that have never started a business in Nigeria are telling him to invest, the Nigerians in Canada, do you think they were poor in Nigeria?

you think 2.5 million will give this man's children quality education and healthcare in nigeria?

everytime someone says they have so and so money and want to travel, una go just come from somewhere and say " invest in agriculture", something wey you never do.

There is a package that costs 3m to immigrate to Canada. For the month of September it was reduced to 1.5m it is a Temporal visa 2 years. But you get a job and accomodation. The job is in the agric sector.

There is no way Ghana is 1,000 times better than Nigeria. I was worked as a consultant with a Ghanaian firm before moving to North America. Nigeria is still the largest economy in Africa. Based on my experience working as a consultant in over 20countries, the Nigerian environment is volatile but Nigeria has more to offer than any other African country. Check World Bank data.

How old you must be!
It's the largest economy but you willingly left it. Others want that opportunity, so please don't discourage them.

I don't blame them... You know there is a way Nigeria will fork up your mind and you will NEVER believe what is possible out there. Anyway, it is good for others like us who want to hustle it out.

As for yours, make sure you test every time before you import anything. Pay for samples to be sent, have a feel of it before u order bulk.

Basically, I usually run a demo ads by setting up landing page for the product. After that, I will then pay facebook to run ads and drive traffic to my page. There is no way to know if people are interested in what you are offering except you run ads.

Some times, I get idea from other people's ads, especially those foreign dropshippers and I save their ads( I have built a huge archive with this method and I don't need to rack my brain to think about what to import or sell). I also have some unfinished landing pages too due to corona, one in particular is the drone market.

Even if the ads from these guys suggest good conversation, I usually run another ads to test the Nigerian market.

When I get some optin, say 5 to 6 with 24 hours, I will pause the ads and import it, though you can scout jiji too to get the product and sell to the demo ads optin, pending when your product arrive..

Video ads converts more for me. I usually get them from Youtube and use Camtasia to edit it a bit in order to suit my need.

It can be stressful because most Nigerians are wired differently and some can really frustrate you but at the same time, it is a game of numbers.

Well, one guy I contacted said it is a yearly thing and that by January, it will normalize... so, I am really hoping so. My default assumption is their algorithm due to recent changes and launches such as change in their U.I. I am sure they are working on it because this just can't continue.

You can try.. truth is, nobody knows what is really happening. not that you won't make sales with facebook ads ooo... the problem is that each conversion is pretty expensive right now. what we used to pay $0.5 to $1.4 per conversion is now $5 per conversion
