If so they will be a blessing to Nigerians in terms of confronting violent crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping, banditry, hostage taking, counter insurgency etc if properly trained and don't trample on the fundermental human Rights of citizens. IMO disbanded SARS should not be in the nominal roll of this new SWATotherwise they will loose credibility going by the antecedents of their disbanded predecessors (SARS)

This is Nigeria, swat as we know it only get involved when it becomes a serious case, but in Nigeria you will see them on the streets collecting "roja". Don't listen to this igp guy, he is trying to play a fast one on us.
