Nothing. Absolutely nothing. The ones clamouring for these cars are men in their 30s and 40s that loved the looks of the E30 in their younger days.

The whining noise is often caused by a low fluid level or worn out pump.

Have you checked the level of fluid in it?

A complete replacement of the pump may be the solution if it isn't caused by insufficient fluid.

Timeless design....and for me, the interior (and exterior) still beats the e36. I owned the coupe once until one indian man paid me a price I could not refuse

We can never tell the remaining shelf life of the second hand spare parts we buy.

The cost of the brand new parts are costly for most persons hence the reason we resort to the second hand parts.

Where did you buy the pump from? Was it in Zuba? Go to Apo or Gudu spare parts market, you will find better and cleaner spare parts.

Now he is going to spend another money to buy another used part, end up spending same money as a new one!

Mcval:

Fuel efficiency has nothing to do with make or model of a car rather the Engine capacity. so the new 2 litre range rover Evogue is more fuel efficient than the RX300 which is a 3 ltre engine,
FYI most of the X5s are 4.4 litre, so it drinks fuel. Once you opt to get an SUV you should stop talking fuel efficiency
