#EndPoliceBrutality: Pastor Adeboye 'We Either Restructure Nigeria Or Breakup' by Abdulazeez99(op): 4:56am On Oct 14, 2020
Pastor Enoch Adeboye has lent his voice to the #Endpolicebrutality campaign and has also called for the restructuring of Nigeria.

Igbere TV reports that the clergyman who is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God RCG, said this in a posted shared on his Instagram page on Tuesday night October 13.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38CTWojU2DY

According to him, it is either Nigeria is "restructured or we break up."

'l“I believe that we might want to look at the problems of Nigeria in a slightly different manner. Some people feel that all our problems will be over if Nigeria should break up. I think that is trying to solve the problems of Nigeria as if it is a Simple Equation. The problems of Nigeria will require quite a bit of Simultaneous Equation and some of them are not going to be Linear either – forgive me I am talking as a Mathematician.

“Why can’t we have a system of government that will create what I will call the United States of Nigeria? Let me explain. We all know that we must restructure. It is either we restructure or we break, you don’t have to be a prophet to know that one. That is certain – restructure or we break up.

“Now, we don’t want to break up, God forbid.

“Without any doubt, we must restructure and do it as soon as possible. A United States of Nigeria is likely to survive than our present structure, this will help across every strata from the police force, military, customs, civil service as a whole. Without any doubt the present system has just made things difficult for Nigerians young and old and I’m glad to see the new era that we are entering. As we continue to pray and take actions, Let somebody shout hallelujah!

This is the stand of the whole south of Nigeria. We cannot continue to sit down and allow a few incompetent people decide the fate of my region and others with their incompetence.

We have been complaining of a government who sees nothing in allowing cows from a distant region forcefully destroying crops of farmers in southern farms.

Dissolution of Nigeria will save more lives.

Re: #EndPoliceBrutality: Pastor Adeboye 'We Either Restructure Nigeria Or Breakup' by alsudan:
Baba Adeboye speaking out in public now only means he has exhausted all his options of trying to convince the bigot why Nigeria must be restructured.

The North West and North East, who the mistake of a President only represents must accept Restructuring or a ruthless dissolution will be the last option.

Nigeria is headed for self implosion yet some beneficiaries of the skewed one Nigeria are telling us that the country's unity is non-negotiable.

Baba has spoken again.VP Osinbajo, Bola Tinubu, Tunde Bakare etc guess you're all listening? Hope DSS, NPF will not give him an invitation? Hope the attack dogs of the govt will not start calling him nay sayer, wailers, IPOB etc as they always do?

"What we want is to define what it is that we want. If we want to be in Nigeria and if we don’t want to be in Nigeria, let’s sit down and agree. We can restructure. We can become a confederation." It said it won't be a great deal "If we decide that we don’t want the country as it is" after all, "countries have gone apart(e.g.Czechoslovakia, Sudan).

We don’t want to go to war (but) the North is not going to be intimidated again to accept anything...We have to sit down and resolve whether we want this federation or this country as it is.”
-Arewa Consultative Forum

"We support a referendum for the aggregating geo-political zones for the people to decide whether to still remain in the present unwieldy marriage of convenience or go their separate ways." -
Ohanaeze

“Shameful that descendants of those who demanded for confederation in 1953 are telling us in 2020 that they do not understand federalism which is what restructuring is all about.

The Yoruba had been advocating that referendum should be included and we are not scared of holding one on the future of Nigeria.”
-Afeniferi.

“There are group who want to drag the country to war simply because they want self-rule or self-determination. The North was not afraid of "anything" coming from the other parts of the country. -Coalition of Northern Groups

The issue of blame game & disunity from the south that's causing the problem, just the way you are portray it.

Saying Yoruba don't want break up is nonsense, there good numbers of people from others tribes that will not support breaking up of Nigeria, because of what they are benefit, does that now mean the whole trybe did same.

In every trybes in South, they are millions of people among each trybes who will against breakup, because of what they benefit.

Hope you know every trybes have politician that represents them in government and such people won't support breakup

I know breaking up won't be easy but it is d best decision.

Nigeria is full of different tribe and religion, reason y we are having this same problem non stop.

I really don't like sharing this dear nation with the northerners. they can goan form their own country.

lastly.........

May God punish Lord Luggard for the amalgamation of southern and northern protectorates .

The reason protests are this long is because FG can not pinpoint who to meet and give bribe for the protests to end.

End to one Nigerian.
#EndNigeria
Stop that let's be reasonable in our struggle for a better Nigeria. During the Arab spring, Bahrain citizens came out in thousands to call for an end to the monarchy, what they got was gun shot of rubber bullets. Many of them were rushed to the hospital. The protest ended in failure. Their government got away with forceful dispersal of the protesters because the protesters demand was unreasonable.

If we repeat the same thing here in Nigeria, like Sowore did, we will give the government just cause to unleash security agents on the protesters. But as long as our demand are reasonable like a call to end police brutality or a call to restructure the country, the government will not be able to use violence on the protesters and will be forced to listen to our demands.
