My brother please read the owners manual.. It should be 5w30 .. That car is tokunbo, when you read owners manual you prolong the life span of the engine....

Do you think a car like that will last up to 250k miles using 20w50 palm oil .... The tokunbo cars that you guys buy abroad wilk not last you guys even two years if the owner abroad didn't take care of it ... so plz bro don't use that rubbish look for 5w30 genuine oil. .. You don't have to buy from me o .. They are other sellers on that platform that sells oil. .......

Since you might be tight on a budget. I have Castrol gtx magnatec that I imported personally from the USA coming out next week for 15k naira ......

Pls is it advisable to ask someone that has been using Mobil 20w50 (palm oil) for like 3 years to change to the new Mobil 5w30 ?
or he should continue with the palm oil, will there be a positive effect on the engine?

Greedy and selfish drivers everywhere.....they have taken over the thread....Gone are the days of Ogunvic and Romeo of blessed memories...gingering drivers and encouraging partners.....then somehow mistakenly ruining investors....lol.....everyone had their share in the business....now it's all greedy drivers who bully everyone with a dissenting opinion...
Yes...jpworld sound harsh and depicts a lack of compassion... but some drivers response here is worse...It seems partners are meant to be father Christmas or something...like let's be open with each other...no one here is rich( except for bosses like Gazzuzz, Radautoworks, Carshopper, some silent billionaires and dru23 who still cant drive a car...lol)....everyone is looking for money....to be rich and comfortable....

Let's have the fear of God in whatever we do....we all have to do better.....#Uberpartnerslivesmatter

If you are on bolt ...go to your drivers portal and screen grab the page and upload....

For Uber....screen grab your app home page....

If not on either app (bolt and Uber) visit the nearest police station for an attestation letter

In short every one should find their way home. Traffic everywhere. Just got out of the one at Circle mall Ajah axis.
I started work by 7am today, restricted my movement within Ikeja axis with short short trips on INDriver and made something reasonable. I got Lekki and Ajah trips from Ikeja so many times I skipped it because of the protest and the traffic. It doesn't worth it being in traffic for hours. By 12pm protesters began to turn up at Alausa, traffic started building up extending to Obafemi awolowo way, Allen Avenue, Opebi and toyin street. I drove home with immediate effect without wasting time.

Let me explain as short and simple for .. When you use thicker oil like 20w50 on modern cars like urs ... The oil sleeves in the engine are made to allow certain types of oil to flow through out the engine...

So if you now use thicker oil. The oil pump will now take longer time for oil to flow properly to the moving parts of the engine .. The thicker the oil the longer it takes for oil to flow at the start of your engine.. In the long run you end up damaging your engine .. It wears out faster.....

I get u now.... Thanks for the head up

Plz let them stick to 20w50 ... no need to switch to manufacture reccomnadation. The damage has been to their engine, switching to 5w30 will cause oil to shorten at a higher rate.....

And most times car dealers will use 20w50 if the engine is shorten oil , instead of them to fix the cause of oil shorten , they use thicker oil to buy time . And at times if the engine has a slight knock rod, 20w50 is used to quiet the knock, it does not fix the problem, it just buys time and eventually the oil seal will give up and engine starts to smoke ...
