MA, I didn't insult her..

I edited my comments, it contains statements where I said she is not a scammer..

But but but

She is taking this lightly.. With the way Nigerian banks deal with this, some act very slow.

Kemmy210, I av no intention to be rude to u. You are like elder sister to me .. I just don't want the bank to be sluggish abt it... Don't be too gentle with them...

No vex sis kemmy, if I sounded so rude.... I'm sorry... But I bliv you and I really await justice to be served to the criminal dt made u pass tru this

You, your family members and your entire generation are scammers.

Atk1nson:
[[s]s]With a head so big you struggle to carry it, you drew that silly conclusion on top 21k sent through a platform many people don't remember still exists, Nigerians are scammers?

You and your family members are the scammers.

Op may be naive, but this one is just silly and arrogant and she's most likely Nigerian herself. [/s]

@kemmy210, stop sulking here, Nigeria is challenging right now but I don't think it's up to the point of begging a complete random stranger 12k or 21k, madam go and hussle and leave this "my helper" mentality./s]
Nigerians are scammers and thieves. If you don't like the comment, get a bucket and do the needful. I'm not Nigerian and have nothing to do with Nigeria grin. I'm Canadian. Huge difference.

I really wish bankers could actually confirm if it's impossible to receive money without sender's name and if it is then it is so wrong for our sweet helper to tag everyone of us and call us thieves for a case that can be investigated.

I'm going to do my research and come back here. We must get to the root of this.

Our name have been smeared more than enough that's it's now so easy to put one person's sin on 200 million people. If the OP was from somewhere else, the first thought won't definitely be a scam, instead finding a way to solve the issue will come first.

One day soon sha, Our name will be held in high esteem again.
Remember the Op gave out the MTCN. MTCN is like a password to unlock vk and view the transaction. So even if Op did not have the senders name, the person viewing the transaction on the system will see all the info, including the sender's name and can play a fast one.

Someone here told me about it earlier this week but I actually found out about it on Sunday. I thought she could get the money that way but I also wanted to send her money from there. I had never used it before and wanted to try it out. If I'm going to get attacked when I've had nothing but good intentions towards her, I will stand up for myself because I get mouth too.

Who is this one and what is IT talking about? No one forced the money out of my hand. I freely wanted to help her and did so, and I'm only trying to see if she can get the money back because it's hers. I see you also want to comment over something that doesn't concern you but learn to mind your own business. No one asked for unwarranted opinion.

Yes, sender cannot transfer without sender's name. So, all the information entered from the end of the sender can be viewed anywhere with the MTCN.

Sometimes ago, some yahoo Boys came to negotiate a deal. They got a MTCN but do not have details of the transaction.
All they wanted me to do was to enter the MTCN and view the transactions and then give them the details, Sender, amount, receiver's name, location bla bla bla, so they can arrange an ID card in the name of the receiver. If I had danced to their tune, they would have picked up the transfer.
Re: How to solve this fraudulent act by Union Bank staff by RightToReject(m): 10:30am On Oct 16, 2020
Somebody other than the bank staff that attended to you, the sender, or you could also have picked the money; since the sender passed the money transfer information to you through email, so all of you are innocent until the real culprit is exposed.

And yes, some people need only the MTCN or even the sender's name without MTCN to collect your money anywhere in the world, USA, Canada, UK, Nigeria included, the Western Union official rule notwithstanding. So, the sender's been either naive or hypocritically disingenuous with her vituperation on all Nigerians.

The quickest way to resolve this kind of issue always is going to the Western Union official office in the country, not to their agent or their agent's representative; there they will call your sender to confirm that she knows you, and after that, they'll tell you an exact office where the money was picked. This doesn't take more than an hour to resolve, but things are done differently in our country.

The truth is that unless established that the bank staff who attended to you cashed the money directly or indirectly, you've no case against the bank and Western Union after knowing the office where it was cashed, but with the petty thief that cashed it; that's if she/he picked it with a real ID, and you'll need the police/EFCC to fetch him in this regard.

Wow.. Then the suspect is the bank staff..

Since she didn't collect the money and the money was said to have been withdrawn from that same bank, the Banker is a suspect..

Definitely definitely
