livingchrist: An honorable motive, my friend, and a godly aspiration. Of course, we cannot stop anyone who wants to believe lies from doing so, and we will not always be able to stand in a spot to show that a certain road in the fork leads nowhere good. Plus the Lord could always call us away to man another post. The Lord strengthen you to your good work. |

Depsui: He became human when God transformed his life into an embryo inside Mary, he grew up like any other human so it is the same spirit (breath of life) that Jesus and everyone else had when he walked the earth, so when he died he died like everyone else! Ecclesiastes 3:19-20, 9:5-10 |

livingchrist: Keep deceiving yourselves, we are searching for real dedicated believers who will join us in the preaching and teaching work as real disciples not just lazy Churchgoers who can't defend their Faith. For your information, even during the lockdown pandemic periods we keep making disciples for our Master, Lord and King. So your arguements meant nothing if you can't present a better performing group than JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES! See the below picture, it's a newly baptized JW!

MaxInDHouse: Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. If nothing survives death, then what is Jesus committing into father's hands |

I blame all those Nollywood and Hollywood actors and producers. In their movies, when someone dies, something immaterial they call “ghost” will continue living somewhere else and will even be able to torment humans. The entertainment industry of course will not convey the truth about Jehovah God rather they will promote Satan's lies. (2Corinthians 4:4, Revelation 12:9) So when Jehovah's Witnesses explain from the Bible that once someone dies, he knows NOTHING at all and passes out from existence(Psalm 146:4, Ecclesiastes 9:5,6)—they refuse to accept because of what the entertainment industry(controlled by Satan) has imprinted in their minds and hearts. Truly as Jehovah's people, we are NOT ignorant of whatever schemes/tactics Satan uses to advance his falsehoods. (2Corinthians 2:11) 2 Likes |

Psalms 146:4 The dust returns to the earth just as it was and the spirit returns to the true God who gave it! MaxInDHouse:I thought you said nothing survives death, so after all the spirit does not die but returns to God. But you lie, the spirit of man and that of animals are different Ecclesiastes 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth? There is the spirit of man and the spirit of animals. |

DappaD: Whenever i say "only Jehovah's Witnesses have the truth" their friends will ask me to quote it from the Bible. But now it's becoming obvious to them that it's only our group that has what is called "unique faith" all of them are just dancing around the sugar of deceit Satan kept in the air. It's the same thing all of them believe even the traditionalists also believe something survives death except Jehovah's Witnesses who diligently studied Genesis 2:7 compare to Ecclesiastes 12:7 2 Likes |

MaxInDHouse:Human being is not electronic device, the spirit is not like electric energy. Jesus commend his spirit to God which means something survives death atleast. So Jesus spirit wasnt killed why did you say nothing survives death? It shows you dont even know what you are saying, since Jesus spirit did not die so how can you say he was resurrected as a Spirit when he didnt even die as a spirit. What does Jesus mean when he said a Spirit does not have flesh and bones as his disciples saw him have? Does that not tell you he was not resurrected as a spirit? 1 Like |

@living You need to understand Genesis 2:7 FIRST because it's little things like these that's confusing most of you. Do you know that ‘Spirit’ [Hebrew: ruach, Greek: pneuma] means several things in the Bible? Meditate on each of these and then select, which ‘spirit’ Jesus was entrusting into Jehovah's hands.(Luke 23:46) |

Ihedinobi3: Guy go out there and make disciples, teach them how to become dedicated believers who are fully competent and completely equipped to stand out with their faith. My Bible student last month almost beat up his neighbour had been i didn't step in it would have turned to a serious police case! We visited him and his two sons quickly ran to pick their Bible study aids as usual then we heard a loud arguement in the yard only to find my student prepared to fight his neighbour! It's was later i discovered that the neighbour was the one calling my students boys to disturb them from studying the Bible with us. My student said "This useless man has a family and none of his children is worth emulating, i'm battling vigorously to see that my own children study the Bible and become responsible and well meaning youths like JWs but this hopeless idiot always try to hinder my own children not to become Godly. Am i their father or him?" That's the power of result! Go and tell my Bible student that JWs are teaching heresy now, what he will tell you is "if it's the heresy that's making them the best youths around, then i'll go for their heresy" James 2:18-26 |

AkinwaleJJ: The breath of life is not your spirit. The breath of life is what keeps your spirit connected to your body and soul. Once your breath of life is gone, your spirit and your soul seperates from your body. Man is a spirit, that has a soul and lives in a body 1 Like |

Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by Depsui(m): 3:10pm On Oct 16, 2020 |
MaxInDHouse: God created spirits to live forever. Infact, the real you is a spirit, that has a soul and lives in a body. Everyone will live forever, some in heaven, some in hell fire. Philippians 1:22-24 22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I wot not. 23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: 24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. The real paul( who is a spirit) wanted to leave his body and go to be with the Lord. |

Depsui: @ bolded is your own personal interpretation of what you read. So listen to my own interpretation. Paul a human has been chosen to be part of those who will rule with Jesus in heaven, so during the first resurrection Paul will join the other 144,000 anointed brothers of Christ and they will be transformed into spirit life like angels. |
Re: After Jesus’ Resurrection, Was His Body Flesh Or Spirit? by DappaD: 3:44pm On Oct 16, 2020 |
Jehovah God saw fit to remove the body of Jesus Christ, just as he had previously done with Moses. (Deuteronomy 34:5,6) In order to fulfill what David said at Psalm 16:10 that the body of Jesus would not decompose. If God hadn't removed Jesus' body, then the disciples wouldn't have fully understood what resurrection to life really meant because at that time there were a lot of things they didn't understand. That's why several years later—after being taught by holy spirit(John 14:26, 16:13), they were now able to fully grasp the nature of Christ's resurrection and that's why Paul and Peter were inspired to write that Jesus was put to death in the weak/fleshly body but was resurrected as an immortal spirit body.(1Corinthians 15:42-44, 1Timothy 3:16, 1Peter 3:18) 2 Likes |

livingchrist: There are three different words translated "spirit" in the Bible, so they are discerned by the context of the message. (1) Spirits are forms of life like angles, they live and have a purpose. (2) Spirit could also mean the breath of life in creatures. (3) Spirit could also mean wind, for instance the spirit (wind) of change cool affect a nation and everyone will be clamoring for a change but it's not a living entity like an angel. 3 Likes |
