You are all senseless. No clear objective. Nothing. You just turned yourself to nuisance.

I support the protest, but I think blocking a major road like this is going too far. Just imagine there's an emergency like someone dying and needs to be transported through this road. Or there's a fire outbreak, the same people will still come and say fire service were no where to be found. Do u expect them to fly?

It is because of the inaction by the Fed Govt. You should tell the Fed Govt to persecute those SARS officials who have committed heinous atrocities before criticising protesters who have been peaceful from the onset. To me, the protesters have not done much. They should block East West Road, Niger Bridge, Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Lagos Airport Road and Lekki Ikoyi Bridge until their demands are met. Where do people enjoy their lives during an agitation?

Rising up against oppression by oppressing (blocking of highway) the fellow citizens? How are you different from the leaders you all are protesting against?

That is the only way the Govt can respond to the current issue - SARS officials killing and robbing people across the country. If you have been a victim or know someone close who was to these daredevils, you would support this movement. But hey, because e no concern me. Tomorrow, you would want Nigeria to be like one developed country as if it came on the platter of gold.

Maybe if there were good economic policies, people won't have time to protest? What do you think? The laws you had regard for, how did it stop SARS from killing people? I think those who are against these protests should have their relatives arranged to be slaughtered by those demons so you might understand what these protests are for.

The End Sars protest keeps waxing strong and protesters seem to be getting more daring. Today, i witnessed how protesters shut down the Lagos Ibadan Expressway at Berger thereby causing traffic from Berger all the way down to Mowe.

That's D sacrifice. Without doing protest being felt how do u think the government will listen? Those people protesting do u think they don't have business to do? Yet they left it to be risking their lives fighting for u and me and our childrens future. Well, I just gave u a good example about doctor but u failed to understand it. We r not quarreling so no problem
Lukay99:

Protesting on the sidewalk by not blocking the highway is what you call sacrifice but blocking the highway is oppressing your fellow citizens and definitely not sacrifice. What is stopping you or the protesters from protesting on the sidewalk and not block the flow of traffic? You can still get your points across without blocking the traffic.

I will definitely quote you Sir, I'm not going to give one year because that's too long. If Nigeria is going to be great again, I definitely don't think it's going to be in this current generation maybe after 100 years or more.

Bro don't mind some myopic people. As far as the protest is peaceful then I support it fully, however protesters should be careful not to damage properties of fellow Nigerian as that D only reason government will try to legally interfere. So far so good we r getting there. This is the only hope to get Nigeria great again. At this stage government can't harm anyone because D world is watching. Only this protest made me believe Nigeria will work again. This movement is not political at all so no one will say it's about APC or PDP

I respect D President for using wisdom in handling this so far. Army warned protesters Buhari called them to order, Army now warning thugs attacking protesters. Signs that they r listening. Wike warned protesters but he latter joined protesters to March. Some people still believe no progress will be made. Them go shock for real

Don't mind all these wicked souls. There are government buildings all over, senate house, aso rock, police headquarters, police stations, government houses, LG houses...

But all they want to do is harass their fellow citizens suffering the same fate as they are.

I understand your point but u should understand that blocking everywhere is part of the plan that will make the government accent to your demands. If it's about matching by the side of the road for one year then they won't react. It's just for everyone to adjust. Few more weeks won't kill us. We stayed at home for months because of ordinary covid that's not even in Nigeria. What good did this covid bring to Nigerians but this protest will bring a lot of changes in our system of governance

You guys may have already killed some sick people in traffic, but you may never know.

You think everyone is like you, hail and hearty... yet some people are getting blood transfusion now as we speak.

Even during the lockdown, the sick could still go out, showing police their hospital report or note/call from their doctor, yet the so called loving masses won't allow them movement.

As I said before, they can achieve the same aim by only blocking half the lanes, but no, wickedness would not allow them. Everyone must suffer according to these protesters.

To understand the matter, "solidarity protest is the greatest weapon to tear the longtime beating drum of the corrupt and stinky system.."

The decay system is the root, and it gives more power to any elevated or enthroned personality to spread his egocentric and oppressive wings.. So, attacking the personalities may waste more of our time.

-Let us all uproot from the root, and watch them all fall down flat quickly like the agama lizards, and watch them begging with nods..

The only axe to hit the root without aiming at the lizards and snakes on the top of our national tree eating the riped fruits is REVOLUTION..

I salute the courage of the youths!! No more pro-APC, pro-PDP, or any pro-divisive party..!
We are all part of the corrupt stinky system, the way I'm seeing it even if this revolution works the same thing we are running from might come back because of how corrupt Nigerians are.

Its irresponsible to put others at risk because you are making a point. You are no different from your oppressors.

it is not irresponsible as long as people's properties are safe and lifes' are at no risk. You are the kind of person that feels ok with the status Quo and dont want anybody to disturb your daily business. Not like you are ok with the status quo per say but you dont care enough to do something about it. Hence, it gets you angry that people are distubring you with theirs. You my friend are one of the lazy youth Buhari was talking about. them dey protest for developed countries and trams and buses always arrive late because they cannot pass. Its a disturbance but the police does not do anything to them because they are exercising their right to expression. Blocking the road is apt because during a protest space is needed to freely march and thousands, if not millions would not do it on the walkway or hang in the air, it has to be on the road.

The protesters need to be addressed and assured of immediate change. immediate reform of the police, investigate and prosecute bad ones. That's all they will get. It's impossible to disband the whole police. If this protests continue how long do u think it would take before the LOOTING starts, or u don't think that's possible? This is a fight against the police, so when the looting starts who's gonna stop the looters? Does the BlackLivesMatter looting in the US ring a bell?

The actions of the government have not exhibited that are serious of solving these problems, so the blockades should continue. Has anyone died as a result of the blockade? How many lives have been lost due to SARS brutalities? You mentioned looting, I ask again, where were your loving darling SARS when 1M boys terrorised Lagosians?

If truly you have been harassed by SARS, i think you need more of it. It obvious you were not harassed well enough.
