Please can anyone help with a sample of the letter of introduction from the employer

I would really appreciate it

Lekiboboe:

This is quite strange, from the College,

What is the name of College ?

Cos most Canadian schools (DLI) knows that IRCC said "Only those who got Study permit on or before March 18 are allowed to come to Canada"

They shouldn't av withdrawn u, they should av at least asked u to defer or you tell them u want to defer.
Av u tried mailing them to know if u can defer to Fall 2021?

Cos most In-person (Non-Virtual) Programs for Fall 2020 (those that av paid Tuition deposit or Full Tuition) have bin advised to defer to Fall 2021 or wait for their Visa Decision bfor Deferring.

@Lekiboboe thanks for your time and advice. The school is Michener Institute Ontario. I paid tuition deposit and I requested for deferment of my study which they rejected. The school Registrar said that they are not admitting any international student in 2021 and advised me to wait till 2022.

Don't know the way out?

@frankrobbin, @Nijaforeigner @JustMellow please am waiting for your advise.

Hello Ifelajulo

Your case saddens my heart.

What if they ask for an updated letter of acceptance and you can’t provide one?

My advice for you now is to apply asap to other schools. If they course is same, fine. If you can’t find the same course, apply to the closest course. So that if an updated letter is asked for, you can send it and also attach a letter of explanation to explain what happened if needed.

Staying without any admission and hoping that the SP is granted is risky.

Best wishes

@Chocs, thanks for feeling my pain. The school Michener Institute is the only institution offering the course in Canada. No other course is close to it. I have tried to apply for another program in another school but the resumption date for those courses is September 2021. But just wondering if that is not too long?

It will end in praise.

Hello Ifelajulo

If you are asked for an updated letter and you can’t provide one, it will be concluded that you don’t have an admission. And if they contact this institute they’ll find out you don’t have a valid admission with them. Remember you need a valid admission (letter of acceptance) to be granted a study permit. So if this happens, most likely your visa won’t be granted.

2021 is almost here, before you know September 2021 would be here. Time is going. You should act fast. Apply for something else. If September is the only available one, then apply! Or what other choice do you have? Act fast!

What’s the name of the course so gurus in the house can suggest something close for you to apply to? Also is it PGD, PGC, MSc?

Best wishes

Good morning House,
A quick one please.
Upon reapplication for Canada study permit, does the biometric status change immediately to "completed" since the earlier biometric done would still be valid? If not when does it change?

I learn UCI will still be same, new application number will be generated by system for new application. Initial biometric details are shown (including biometric number, date of Biometric and validity date) in the top right corner table of profile where UCI number is displayed.

What of medical passed in previous application?

For those who have reapplied, how does it go.

Thanks
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by wolepopo(m): 10:02am On Oct 17, 2020
I doubt if the biometric status changes immediately you submit your application...but few days/weeks afterwards, it should be properly updated...since biometrics are valid for 10 years.

Medical exam is valid for one year...so you need to watch timelines to know when your previous one expires

Hello House, I’m new here. I’ve been trying to get myself familiar with the system with Canada studentship. Please, I need information on which schools open for admission applications, which would not require IELTS exams and offer engineering courses. Thank you.

@Chocs thanks. I have already applied for another course in another school.

The course is Diagnostic Cytology. I have checked for other schools where they offer it in Canada, I found none. Maybe gurus in the house can help with any other school offering the course.

You are welcome ExchangeA,

If you graduated with a
1st Class or 2.1 - You are eligible to apply for a Masters

2.2 or 3rd Class - You are eligible for a PGD/PG.Cert

If you are a NIGERIAN, don't bother urself about IELTS, even if i see it as a requirement in any Canadian School (DLI) u are exempted, cos u come from an English Speaking Country (Nigeria).

IELTS for Canada Study Visa is meant for non-english speaking countries e.g India, Vietnam, Philippines, China etc.

Its only mandatory for you to do IELTS when you wanna file for PR (Permanent Residency) in Canada (Express Entry, PNP etc.)

If its a Masters in Engineering Related Program you are going for , visit the link below and check for Engineering Programs aligning with ur fmr. degree (Bachelor's Degree)

Finally, visit the link below for

That's a Cell Biology related Program,

Try google and do a research on
Graduate Certificate in Regenerative Medicine
@McGill University, Quebec

Their Course modules are Cell Biology Related.
If u satisfy their Admission Requirement , check for their Admission intake, Availability for International Students and see if u can apply.

The other programs left are
Masters in Cell Biology (Minimum req. is 1st Class/2.1)

Okay here we go grin
First off, I appreciate everyone on here who give their time and effort to assist and painstakingly answer questions. Special shout out to Frankrobbin and fratermathy for some crucial answers they gave to my doubts that spurred me to take key actions at critical points. At last PPR in the mail. Please find details below:

Timeline
Date Applied: June 18
Biometrics Request: June 19
Biometrics Given: June 24
AIP: August 11
Upfront Medical: August 26
Medical Updated Passed: September 24
BVL/Correspondence Letter: October 15
Passport Request (PPR): October 17

Documents Submitted
All necessary IMM forms
Letter of Acceptance
MSc degree certificate and transcript
BSc degree certificate and transcript
Copies of travel stamps, visas and conference certificates to show travel history.
Letter of Introduction
All documents arranged and merged in one pdf
Letter of EE pool withdrawal (been in the pool for ages with no hope anyways lol)

Statement of Purpose:
I detailed my education and professional background linked it as much as I could to my programme. I will be researching on public service digitalization, so had to talk about my passion for a digitalized public service and how I was coming back to Naija to help with this.

Home Ties: I have nothing yet in Naija except my family, so had to build on that, let them know my mum was widowed and I am the oldest so I definitely had to come back for them. Added my naija pension fund statement too.

Proof of Fund:
I was self-sponsored with savings equivalent to about N5m. Showed bank statement.

University Funding Letter of 10k CAD

Pension statement

Letter from my supervisor explaining I would have a TA position and stated the monthly pay.

Not sure if I covered everything but feel free to mention of you need some clarification or questions.

For everyone still waiting, I believe the coming week will come with lots of news like mine especially as October 20 is here already. For those who have been rejected, please keep the hope, keep asking questions and do the right thing. It will work out in the end. Peace
