Hot Fuzz- One of the most interesting comedies I have watched in a long time. I am still wondering what Simon Pegg is doing in the Mission Impossible franchise because I think he is too big a star to be playing bit roles. The movie's twist towards the end reminds me of those Agatha Christie surprise reveals at the climax of her stories, but this time only funnier. Very entertaining watch. 1 Like |

The World's End- This is one of the funniest movies I've ever watched. It is ridiculous, funny and beneath all the ruckus lies a very serious theme. A man (Simon Pegg) who has never acheived anything in life sees a chance at redemption- at the bottom of a beer glass. He manages to convince his 4 childhood friends to come with him to their hometown but what they find there is a lot bigger and freakier than anyone (the viewers included) can imagine. A very funny, must see movie. 1 Like 1 Share |

Primer- I watched it and for the first time in a very long time, I was completely blank. I mean, what the fvck?? I felt very dumb because I just could not understand the movie. It is too technical A complete waste of MB. And to think the movie has a very high rating because of its originality and came highly recommended as a matter mind fvck film. |

The Princess and the Frog: It's an Oscar animated movie that's a modern retelling of The Frog Prince by the Brothers Grimm. I have two hard cover Brothers Grimm books of fairytales, about 700 pages per book. I don't know which year I will read them (they still have the nylon wrapping) but on the bright side, I do know my kids will read 'em. The story is rather cheesy and I rolled my eyes in a couple of places before reminding myself that the story is for kids and young adults, of which I am neither. Ishilove don't be an agbaya!! It's entertaining though, but I guess I was semi-detached from the movie. |

Adam's Apple- This movie...is one of the best I have ever watched in my entire life... Shocking, funny and very touching, Mads Mikelson and Mr Ulrich (Ulrich especially) are the stars of the movie, carrying their roles like Colossus waltzing their way into our hearts with their heart tugging performance. 1 Like |

Ishilove:"Ma-Ma is not the law" Judge Dredd does not take off his helmet throughout the movie so the actor has to convey emotions through his voice, tone, mouth and jaw movement, word nuances and body language. That must have been very tricky to pull off but Karl Urban did a spectacular job with the role. 1 Like 1 Share |
