Godsblessings:I will advice you get his GCMS notes so as to be sure of the visa officer's concerns in his last TRV application. This will also enable you maintain some level of consistency in information in his current study permit application. Frankly speaking, I see no need for the rush in submitting his study permit application in 3-5 days. Take your time to Dot all i's and cross all T's. It will end in praise |

DINO71:You must certainly receive a BVL notification regardless of the fact that you didn't do biometrics in your current application. This notification comes whenever a decison has been reached on any temporary resident application to Canada. It will end in praise. |

Luwaluwa:It's not true, you don't need to pay for another visa fee after the renewal of your passport. Get your expired passport renewed and raise a CSE via IRCC webform with a copy of the new passport and it will be appended with your in process study permit application. It will end in praise |

Hello people!! Please I’m still a bit worried about my GCMS notes as I stated earlier. I’m not sure what to think about the VOs note (it doesn’t seem like anything to me). Also the part where they said BIL expired, I’m not so sure what that means because I did my biometric and it was updated. Please someone should explain this notes to me... there’s really no comments there. Dameelee:

Dameelee:Can you screenshot the second and three pages of the GCMS notes where the visa officer gave his final assessment on your application. A glimpse at the GCMS note shows that you've passed the ELIGIBILITY requirements. Personally, I would say your application is on the right track. The "BIL Expired" could have been entered in error by the program analyst, which will still be reviewed by a senior immigration officer before you will receive the final decision. It will end in praise. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Phatkayconcept: 10:48pm On Oct 18, 2020 |
Dameelee:BIL - biometric instruction letter that was sent to you has expired. If you have done your biometrics and if it has been updated. Nothing to worry about. Just chill. Another postive from the note is that, you have passed eligibility. The question is; were you given directives to undergo medical exam? Do you receive AIP? |

Hello gurus in the house, good morning @Frankrobbn1 @naijaforeigner @JustMellow @Lekiboboe Etc Please i need your answers on my below questions; 1.) When filling the Canada study permit form, does the form require one to indicate if you have been denied any country Visa previously especially US and UK ? 2.) If YES, does previous US and UK visiting visa denials have any effect on the outcome of your Canada Study permit Visa ? 3) Please is it true that UK, US , Canada and Australia share same biometric data with each other or information of applicant denied a visa ? 4.) Lastly please i have a very important issue bothering me which have prompted all the above questions, sometime in 2013 and 2014 i was denied a US and UK visas and the date of birth on my international passport was incorrect ( Wrong year of birth but with correct Month and day of birth) , the visa agent filled up some misleading information to correspond with the age increase ( About 7 years added to my real age) , then i was so desperate to travel, i only have my my OND cert then, after the visa denials i decided to stay back and further my education, so i later proceeded and got my B.ENG , now i want to apply for masters in canada and i'm well established here in Nigeria with 2 companies, married with other TIES, i have been living with the guilt of the misleading data on my passport and information at the US and UK embassies and because the wrong DOB will not also correspond with the DOB on my educational document ( e.g WAEC) i have applied to go to Abuja soon to correct the information and have the date of birth correct on a new passport to apply for the canada study permit. Now my biggest fear is, if the Canada consulate will get my previous data information from the US or UK embassy. I have not seen the Canada Study Visa form if the question for previous visa denial for US , UK or any other country will be asked or not, but definitely i'm willing to say the truth in my application and ready to face the consequences, i just want to make everything right , i regret my action few years ago. I was misled by the visa agent then. NOTE: i traveled to Dubai twice (2013 and 2016) with the wrong year of birth, though the passport with the wrong year of birth is expired and like i said, i will soon have a new one with the correct data. UK informed then that i had insufficient funds as reason for denial while US, didn't give any reason for the denial, simply was denied after interview. Please kindly reply my above questions and advise me on what to do guys. Please help a brother, i'm really bothered. |

Hello guys, I am hoping to apply to Canada for the January entry and I am hoping to finish my application by this week, and I have a couple of questions. Please any expert should help me and see me through this. 1.) I am going to school in conestoga for a post graduate certificate and the school fees is 23k cad, and I currently have 23M with me, would that be enough or it is too little, I am hoping to show my housing costs as well as my living cost at once. 2.) my dads international passport has expired will that be a problem when applying for the visa? 3.) I just completed my nysc today, what do I put for employment as I have none? 4.) will I be able to make jan entry if I apply now? Or am I too late 5.) can I send anyone my SOP to help me look over it for any corrections. Thank you and may we all see succes |

Hello Dbankx1 1) 23M is enough. You’re expected to show 1 year tuition + living expenses of at least 10,000 cad. If you calculate yours, 23+10=33k. If the money is in your dad’s account please let him write a sponsorship letter promising to take care of all your financial needs. 2) You can attach any other means of ID for him, if that’s what you want to use the passport to show. 3) If I were you, I’ll put my NYSC. 4) If you’re applying in a few days, and you already have all docs on ground and you’re organized, you can still go ahead. But if you need to start learning about how to package your docs, looking for documents and all now, it might be a bit late. 5) Hopefully a guru good with SOP can help you. Best wishes Dbankx1: |

Hello EngrCGD 1) YES! Please make sure you indicate if you’ve been denied visa to any country! as they’ll still find out and it can lead to a 5 year ban. 2) It shouldn’t have any effect, if you are truthful about the reason, except it was a criminal related issue 3) They all share information, so if you lie, they’ll still find out. And you’ll get a ban from Canada. 4)if I were you, I’ll attach a small note to explain the error in the date of birth then I’ll do an affidavit in a court, declaring my real date of birth and attach it. That should sort it out. Best wishes EngrCGD: |

Hello thanks for the reply, Also how do I send my fathers bank statement, he uses first bank and they do not offer the online bank statements sending to the embassy, do I just upload it to a pdf file and send it that way? 2.) I have not paid for my accommodation, will that be a hitch in my application or is there no need to attach an accommodation recipt? |

Lekiboboe:In my view, the student should contact the school's international/advisory unit for clarification and proper guidance. |

Hello Dbankx1 1) He should go to the bank and request for his bank statement to be printed out, each page must be stamped by the bank. 4-6 months bank statement. You should scan this and upload it under proof of funds, merge it with the other documents which show financial capabilities. 2) there is no accommodation requirement. You’re good to go. Please kindly read from page one of this thread until the end to get familiar with the requirements for application and the right section to upload each document. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see the page numbers, click on 1 and start reading. Please try and get it right, no need rushing and then ending up making a mistake that will affect your application. Best wishes Dbankx1: |
