See her story: My name is Stella, I am a resident of Lagos, Nigeria. In the year 2012 precisely January then I was still a university student when I came home for holiday only to hear of the subsidy as a new year package so I joined the protest that day against my parent advise. I think it was the second day or so I met a young man during the protest, he was good looking and a graduate sha but then still looking for work. We held the banner together and chanted same thing. I recall that atimes during the protest he will stare at me and when I look at him he will take off his eyes. I knew something was fishing but I just maintained my self. During that protest I was already in a relationship so I wasn’t really cut-out for whatever he was doing. I met Yomi during that protest and I told him we could just be friends and he agreed. It didn’t take 6 months before the relationship I was in then ended due to a flimsy move by him then but I moved on and didn’t let that get to me, at least Yomi was still around and we do talk and all. I remember telling Yomi about the breakup, he comforted me and then made his own proposal after like 2 weeks or so. We dated for about a year and then now we are married with 2 boys.
