from what you have said now it shows that you don't need drugs to correct what's wrong with you.what you really have is refractive error,which can only be corrected by eyeglasses. Please forget your perception about glasses,and get one now because this is the main solution for now.it simply shows that light rays doesn't form on where its suppose to fall on I.e the macula,this eyeglasses will help to push the light rays to the macula and give you maximum vision.the earlier the better,cos the end result might be amblyopia I.e loss of function of an organ due to disuse,which can't be corrected by any known means. The eyeglasses will help to relieve you of the tearing and itching..you tear cos you strain your eyes to see distant objects,thereby exerting pressure on the lacrimal gland which produces tears.thank you

My eyes is slightly yellow , I don't think it any health disease , prolly dirt , less sleep etc ..
I just need a therapy to make it brighter

dirt can't pile up in your eyes as tears would always wash dem off else, the eye would react to such and you would have long gone to have such dirt removed cos of the discomfort it would hv caused u. Lack of sleep wouldnt cause yellow eyes. Since you claim that has always been your eye colour , then theres nothing that can be done but if it hasn't always been so, then i advice you go for a systemic health check by visiting your GP

refractive surgery is still new in nigeria and not common. It also have its cons aswell . As for glaucoma, there are no drugs for such yet.

I am an Eye doctor, I discovered through clinical experience that most Patients don't really know about some basic things and problems affecting the eyesn and these has led to simple eye problems being seen as complicated and frightening to most patients and they don't really know how to go about it. There are some eye problems that are hereditary,which requires normal routine eye examinations but due to ignorance most patients tend to lose their sight to eye problems that could have been prevented. any experience of seeing threadlike strands or cobwebs in your field of view? Fashes of light? Are you diabetic? Any trauma to that eye prior that day, any family history of blindness or glaucoma, any noticeable symptom aside the blurriness in that eye?

None of the above, but I know that my eyes are quite sensitive to bright light and I am also short sighted, but I don't use glasses. For now, it's just the blurruminess in one eye.

where some indians performed the surgery.

pick up a news paper or a bible with small prints and cover the good eye. Check if you can read the prints with the blurry eye

Please is the glasses going to help correct the affected eye? Also,I can't go out at this critical time. I am in Lagos, the centre of the whole crisis now. What can I do for now, pending on when things normalize and I can visit an Eye clinic?

it's not an emergency. You ll have to be patient until things normalizes . It would only correct it when worn nd when u take off the glasses, your eye returns back to seeing blurrily

Good afternoon doc, since late last year I discovered a yellowish spot/growth on the white part of my right eye, when I discovered it it was kind of hard to spot but now it's really easy to spot I.e it's become more noticeable. I researched online and found out it was a pinguecula.
The problems now is that I'm really scared and I don't want this to progress more I don't know what to do to stop this growth. I also want to know if it's possible for me to remove it because I'm young and I can't have what's meant for old people.

lolz just try reducing exposure of your eyes to harsh environmental conditions . Gettin a uv a nd b protective sun glasses or photochromic lenses fr outdoors is advised.
