You are right. The prob is they have mastered how to corner people from the South who are politically naive. They have cleverly ensure the constitutional power of a VP is habdicapped, then they find someone from the South to be a VP candidate along with the main guy. Then tribal sentimental people of the South start running around because their person is about to be VP. Lol.
The last election was a perfect and glaring example of how the North and older generation politicians operate and we still dont get it.
With the way the current VP is constitutionally handicapped, we still don't get it.
The way forward is to go back to regional government or have at least 2-5 VPs and devolve powers. Its too centrally abrogated to one man.
