I just Discussed with an NNPC Staff and he reconfirmed that there is no way NNPC will not need Experienced Hire considering the fact that about 170 full staff will be retiring Mid November 2020 and another circa 200 in February 2021. The staff is not in a position to speculate any date for notificationss but you can work out a time frame when you think NNPC will need you considering those retirements and Interviews/Promotions.

Does that mean the GTs would be resuming with other staffs...which would mean they would have been posted..

GTs will be resuming early November for non-technicals and late November for the technicals.

if I try to understand his statements, taking in people of that magnitude to fill in the required position can only be done by recruitment and this is the only one done since 2012 coupled with the upcoming promotions and retirements, it's only fair to think that

Like 2 persons said that EH is abt 300, eventhough it's more than that, based on the GMD's comment at the NAPE's webinar in June, I don't see EH being up to that of GT. We will be lucky if it's up to 600...and nilnilsef said abt 400 will retire btw Nov. and Feb., going by that rate there should b enough space for EH to occupy. Was the recruitment done to fill up spaces that will b created 2yrs after?

The corporation is optimising a lot of positions. That was the reason for the initial delay in releasing the list before all this talk of promotion and retirements.

After the IOR and MPE exercises are concluded, we will have a clearer picture of the vacancies available.
