No ooh bros...

The resulting is being calculated by the value at which the request came with the surge oh.

Take for instance you accept a riders request with the flly parameter your total earnings will be.

Parameter
Surge = 1.8x
Drop of dist = 10km
Time spent on trip = 30min
Wait time = 10mins
Base fee = N220
Amount /km = 67 as against 65 formally
Amount / min = 11 against 10 formally

It :- =
Total fare=
10*67/65 = N670/650--------i
30*11/10 = N33/30. ----------ii
Wait time. 10*11/10 = 110/100. --------- iii

Sum up eqn i, II, & iii + base fare of N220/200

Total. = N1033/980. ------iv
Surge val.
Using Taylor's series to solve eqn iv

Las Las....

Total fare = N1.859.4/1,764. ------ v

NB: the exact amount will be deducted from you account if trip was card, otherwise,

Cash paid = N1,900/1,800.

Anyone can argue with their ancestors

Subtract eqn v from iv to know the surge val.

Did you read where I said How you now minimize your daily and weekly expenses is now left to you to maximize your savings.

Of cause we all have our daily expenditure,
That expenditure is what will determine what you are left with from what i calculated as your net, it varies and reason why I can't give calculations on that...

Olayetan
U don't need to shalaye again jare lot of guys read to reply and not read to understand.
Abeg leave dem.
Your explanation is simple, plain and straightforward yet they choose to see and reason just along their line of thought.

He said after commission and fuel are deducted the other expenses varies according to individuals which takes the balance further down. Chikena
He has not said the take home is 800k less commission and fuel alone but less other expenses which include data, recharge calls, feeding, minor repairs etc.

Net income is after tax is deducted. Agreed.

I'm interested in d take home, cos fuel is an input you expend going forward, in accounting, else, it would amount to double counting, it must be reimbursed back cos it didn't come out from d thin air.

So your Net in the Uber/taxify parlance should be

Net income = Gross income - Commission - Fuel used

@northbird abeg oooooooo
So why all this brouhaha then.
If you know Net income = Gross income -commission - fuel used.

So how is what @Olayetan calculated different from what you wrote.

Make Una blood dey calm down ooooooo
