Who told you they're not fighting for the region? If they're not fighting for the region how come we have nddc and others? The government has refused to develop their region, so those guys has resort to bargain for their self interest. Have you heard the federal government compensate communities for oil spillage, pollution of their environment? Only when they want to drill crude oil they will share peanuts and that's over.

With everything u have said, how were u able to prove that Niger Delta militants are fighting for d region?

U know nothing, avengers were part of the reason Nigeria went on recession, if not for the likes of I've Ibe kachikwu that settled the matter na different story u for dey talk by now.

Sorry to bust your bubble but the so called Niger Delta Avengers were a fake non existing group that was deployed by top APC big wigs and senior military officers to get Buhari to reconsider awarding the oil pipeline protection contract.

Tinubu was propping Ayari to replace Tompolo's security outfit after Tompolo went underground and Buhari cancelled the contract and declared him wanted.

Even Miyetti Allah offered their services as pipeline security and that's why they flocked Delta State.

At the end, Buhari reawarded the contract to the notorious mercernary group Black Waters which is now owned by the Saudis. Black Water is also heavily involved in the Saudi war in Yemen .

After Buhari awarded the contract , the Niger Delta Avengers vanished and Ayari shut his big mouth and went on the low. Or have you forgotten how that Ayari used to disturb us with his social media posts which NL posters always tag as ",Warrior Billionnaire buys new Bentley , etc"
Now that Tompolo is back every one don fem! And the creeks are not silent again.

U donno what u are saying, what do I think the likes of ibe kachikwu did when he was GM of nnpc. They engage the militant, those guys have back door meetings the public is not aware of.

They are not interested in maintaining oil production but rather taming the ND once and for all.

They know any talk of insecurity will see IOCs packing up and so will just go full jihad and weather the loss in revenue.

You must understand that elements in this satanic govt are behind BH which Buhari himself said arose because of the amnesty granted the ND Militants.

They are also very jealous and envious of any developmental strides in the ND and saw the kafuri GEJ as it's epitome.

You must understand that the people in power are highly sectional and bigotted goats who want to enslave and impoverish and subjugate the South .

States must generate a substancial amount of revenue to be developed.

The Nigerian Govs are not investing in state/private entrepreneurs.

One of the reason must states are poor.

Gov focus too much on road, bridges, etc and not businesses.

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FROM THESE LOOTERS?.

u are absolutely correct......thats why people should start holding their state governors and local govt chairman by their balls......

We are saying the same thing! The "thouht" here is saying it's wrong for the Niger Delta militants to accept pipeline security contracts and be paid by foreigners who lift the oil and develop other areas at the detriment of the host communities in the Niger Delta.. They should fight for full control of their resources just like the people of zamfara are doing with their gold...ok?
Have u ever heard dat d pipo of zamfara fought to control d goldmine? Hv u ever heard soldiers sent to zamfar to quell hostility? Its good we re on same page on d issue..but shows we hv wicked greedy politician across board.

The govt will not engage the Militants because they can't .

Rather they will terrorize the communities towards not given support to the rebels

That is counter insurgency 101 the Nigerian Army style .
Guy it does not work that way for how long will you terrorize the communities? Even if you terrorize the communities you will still not operate or drill crude oil because those militants don't come empty hands, they will destroy and vandalize oil pipe line, kidnapped staff, Nigerian government will lose investors, oil companies will shut down. they use jazz to fight they don't come empty hand. they will still come strong to attack. Ask anyone who has work in any jetty that Nigerian government use to export crude oil offshore in the Niger delta area.

You guys are Cowards. The area you're living for so many years, issuing threat endlessly for years without any action, no one will take u serious.
Your sons, Nnamdi Kanu, Tompolo, Dokubo and others once issued threats on separate occasions that Nigeria will no longer exist after a speculated time but here we are existing.
Operation Python Dance alone will erase your region. But pls do not call on any international community for help if u know you're up to the task.
You Northerners actually think Easterners and Niger Deltans are weak. You mistake our silence with regards to your nonsense and excess for weakness. E go shock you. No worry!

I once had a sit-down with these guys when I was part of an IOC team that went to discuss with them some years ago. Jokes apart no government would even dream of an all out confrontation with these guys. The own the creeks, they know every where and it would be a logistical nightmare for the amphibious unit of the NA to dream of even going there. Believe me I know, So this one no bi GEJ or Buhari, any sensible government would prefer to discuss with them than to fight
Leave those doubting Thomas, I have a friend who worked in the jetty where Nigerian government export crude oil offshore, those militants are ruthless, the worst part is they use jazz.

It is beyond oil.

They want the land and access to the coast and they are ready to genocide and drive out the indigenes from their lands

The Fulani expansionism is real and they have chosen Nigeria as their preferred Nation to settle .

What is more pressing to them is to push out all other Nationals from the land in a great replacement putsch.

what does that mean?
It means uncertainty in our crude exports. Less crude export ie less usd earnings ie less usd in cbn coffers ie naira loses value against usd.
Economist here can explain better.

I understand what you are saying but those fulani expansionism can hardly work because those communities indigenes would hinder them from operating, those fulani can operate at national level but cannot operate at local level, you remember the water resources control bill that was to be passed and implemented!!! The indigenes resisted the bill, it might break up Nigeria if those fulani trespass.

CBN will not advice that as it will make the fall of naira faster due to panic buying.
The general idea is that if you want to maintain the value of your money, you probably have to save in usd.
Imagine some folks on this forum pridicted accurately early this year. Withdrew all savings and bought usd at 360. Pounds at 475. Next day it went up. By 1 week, usd was 420. Today it's 460+.
The idea is to protect the value of your savings.

Don’t talk rot.

Buhari builds pipelines to drain oil and gas to the far north and to the Arab world.
Oil producing areas in the south are polluted and underdeveloped, compared to northern Nigeria cities.
Buhari builds rail roads to Niger Republic. No standard gauge rail lines in most oil producing areas in the south.
You are blaming governors of oil producing areas for underdevelopment in their areas.

With the open and tacit support the Fulani terrorists enjoy from the Presidency you are still doubting what I wrote?

A fulani man is the governor of zamfara state who engages Fulani , Malian and Arab gold miners to mine gold on Awusa lands that they now occupy after driving the Awusas off their lands.

The same thing happening in southern Kaduna over nickel deposits and pastorial lands.

Same in Borno over the oil Wells in the Chad basin which the Chinese are now drilling horizontally from Niger Rep.

They are ushering a generational agenda that will see the South and middle belt fully occupied by fulani migrants from across Western and central Africa.

There is no empty threat by the ND militants, the attack on Lekki peaceful protest by govt resurrected the anger from the ND militant. Besight, some Nigerians call ND militants for backup to ensure the fight is for all for one. Maybe some of us , didn't watch the video staging their presence in Rivers State, following sudden appearance of Tompolo. They roam the streets in their usual expecting the so-called govt soldiers to surface, calming down the residents not to run.

Unfortunately, the ND militants is available for the SS to defend injustice in a combat, but other regions are left loose to intimidation in the face of injustice.

Let us imagine the situation, ND militants from the South, Boko Haram from the North and other regional militias face the Central Govt Army, that's the end.

Imagine, what happened in Mali recently?

All these actions, anger and resentments is nothing but Northern attitude towards the one Nigerian project.

There is a saying that you can fool some people sometimes but you can't fool all the people all the time. Thank God even the Yorubas are waking up to the scam of one Nigeria. My very top Yoruba friend who wouldn't let me hear word about the need for one Nigeria now can go to any limit to say a break up is the way forward.

Do you know I just discovered that we don't pay the same amount for electricity in Nigeria. It differs from state to state. Those in Rivers state pay higher than those in Lagos. You can confirm from anyone that works with electricity supply in Nigeria.

Just to support what EVERYTHING MUST BE RESTRUCTURED.

How can Zamfara state be selling their gold to CBN after secretly mining their gold for so many years? How can a president see rail connection to Niger republic as a priority in a dwindling Nigeria economy? Same way Buhari spent billons of dollars searching for oil in the North at a time the oil revenue was low and our economy was about going into recession. Why do the north always see Nigeria from the prism of the north first whenever they are in power? Why? I also blame corrupt southern leaders especially in the South South who fail their people despite the 13% derivation. But Northern attitude in the government cannot but be described as leeches. Their ever growing uncontrollable population is their priority. A place where a man boasts of 30 children. How will Nigerian revenue be enough to satisfy such population? How will poverty leave their region.

We urgently need to restructure as a nation so that every region will sit up to avoid all these implosion. God forbid we start war in Nigeria. We are tired of every year every trouble. The north will always chose to threaten everyone whenever break up is mentioned. Why? Because they have upper hand in the military. Do they really think the 21st century world is same as 1960?

To build our nation, we need a new structure, a new attitude and a unifying leader. I advice Igbos to stop further investment outside Igbo land. The present problems all over Nigeria is seriously a bad signal for such investments. To be forewarned is to be fore armed. We are not building a nation, we are living a nation.
