At the station, we read the trip shedule and realized we just missed the last ferry to tarkwa bay by 3 minutes. We even saw the ferry sailing away from us from where we stood ☹.

Motivated by this thread.. I visited the beach today, in fact typing this from the beach..

Cool environment, very cheap... Though the place is quiet dry today.. But I had the perfect environment to brainstorm and write some script.

Visiting again this Saturday..

Plus.. I didn't pay any entry fee, maybe cos everywhere is dry, just the host environment occupant chilling at different joint adjacent to the beach.

The Tarkwa Bay beach is located at Onisowo island community, commonly referred to as ‘Snake Island’ about 15 minutes away from Lagos island. I made a hiking trip through the snake island back in April and wrote about the experience. We converged at the popular CMS bus stop at about 11am from where we walked down to the Lagos-Apapa Ferry Service Station which is located beside the pedestrian bridge after the CMS bus stop.

Due to the existence of other buildings and structures, locating the station might be a bit difficult for a new goer. So its advisable to always ask around after crossing the bridge to the other side facing the sea.

I and some friends are planning a little getaway after after exams and we are considering the BAY! I'd love to know if you have any idea on how much the beach houses cost. Thanks in anticipation.

No idea. But if you check up on TripAdvisor, IG or Facebook you'll find one of the beach staff to give you the figures
