I have these symptoms and looking to do an endoscopy soon.

Ulcer itself isn't too difficult to cure but many stubborn cases of ulcer actually have underlying condition like GERD as the cause. GERD may also be a symptom of something more serious like Hiatal Hernia.

The same happened to me sir. After spending a lot of money at the hospitals, and treating heart problem, I finally met a doctor who advised me to go for Endoscopy, there they found out that I have GERD,' hiatal hernia' in particular. Now, I visit a gastroenterologist. He is a specialist in GERD and so far, I've seen relieve. I hardly have difficulty in breathing anymore and the belching and bloating had reduced. My doctor's number one rule is, never eat too much food'
He is right, I eat only enough and I stopped eating late. Many people have GERD without knowing

My brother, I can't remember the drugs I took o. All I know is that, at a point, I stopped feeling all symptoms and stopped visiting the doctor. It's over two years now. I got married, got pregnant, put to bed via CS and no symptoms again. Just occasional heartburn. Before the symptoms left, my mom told me she prayed and fasted for days and she felt peace. All I know is that God intervened.
From your moniker, I suspect you're a northerner. Well, I'm one too. If you are in KD, I can refer you the doctor I used to see. He is good at what he does. By the way, have you done Endoscopy?

I didn't. Just tried changing diet. Symptoms should improve with that and relevant medications

Any doctor will easily prescribe PPI and antacids. Use them and watch what you eat, then avoid eating too much and laying down immediately after eating. In short cut down anything that triggers excess gas or things that won't make the ulcer to heal.

Which doctor said it's ulcer and what aided his diagnosis? I'm thinking it's something else. If you don't abuse NSAIDs and have treated for H. Pylori but still having the ulcer. You should probably go for endoscopy.

I advise you go for an ultrasound to see the amount of gas in your GIT. you might need to stop taking carbonated drinks and food that contain too much gas like beans , too much milk and the rest. I did an ultrasound and found out it was too much collection of gas in my GIT that caused me endless pains.I started medication with activated charcoal and totally avoided carbonated drink and I'm okay now. Do an abdominal scan and see a doctor for advise.

Get unripe pawpaw, without pealing of the back.... Cut into small bits, dont remove d seeds.... Boil all its content, den sieve it.... Save the liquid content. Take two shot(dat normal small glass use 4 kinekin), morning, and evening.... It works lik magic... I used to have Ulcer until i used it.... I just made a second one dis morning... I wud start taking it this evening. U ve to keep it in d fridge else it goes bad. I keep mine in d fridge den warm two shots by placing d glass in in hot b4 taking it.

You really need tests to rule out other conditions that might be causing this. But if it's ulcer, I would highly recommend a daily dose of BANANA. Take at least four per day and try it for a week — believe me, it works like magic (and am talking from personal experience) .

I have managed peptic ulcer for over 10 years. It was very bad at a point but i got better when I visited a Gastro intestinal tract consultant at the general hospital in Lagos.

1. Avoid peppery food
2. Avoid Spicy food
3. Avoid fried foods
4. Avoid oranges, Apple's Eric basically anything acidic. You have more than enough acid in your stomach already.
5. Avoid carbonated drinks or alcoholic drinks e.g. coke, malt Etc. Take water or zobo Etc.
6. Eat little portions at a time and eat about 5 times a day. ensure you have something to eat at all times
7. You may wan to avoid beans because of heartburn.

For drugs...i used different combinations from omeprazole and meteronidazole..unsure of the sppelling(Flagyl) with various antacids Etc.. but i only felt relieved when the doctor prescribed Nexium Esomeprazole..i take 20mg 2x daily and Gascol..i had the option of taking gaviscon which i I had used before but i stuck with Gascol because it works well for me. I also had to do an endoscopy to be sure of.what i was dealing with.

3 years after this treatment, i hardly take my drugs except for days when i eat late or probably took oranges.

Stress also aggravates the pain...so you need to manage your stress level.

Am always have feelings of something stuck in my throat, bloating stomach, indigestion, vomitting, back pain and some other symptoms. I went for different test last week, like kidney test, hiv, h.pylori, bacteria sensitive, culture, pcv and endoscopy. All my test was negative except endoscopy that show am having throat erosive esophagitis. I don't know what to do again because h.pylori is negative but my symptoms is more like stomach ulcer. Please how can i heal my throat erosive esophagitis?

Mine started this year.. and it hasn't been easy. I met a gastroenterologist and did series of tests.Helicobacter pylori was not detected. I did endoscopy/biopsy; this confirmed I had esophagitis i.e reflux acid. I was given omeprazole pills. My symptoms subsided for awhile, I then stopped taking it. After a month, it came back and in a very aggressive way. It affected me so much that I stopped going to work. I then did a colonoscopy/biopsy to check my colon and so forth, and ultrasound to check my organs. Everything was fine. The gastroenterologist now gave me strong dosage of pantoprazole. So far.. my stomach pains has stopped but I've now just developed a little heartburn. I feel way better now.
