Seun, Nairaland will be ruined if you don't do something about all the hate on this forum.
You need to expand and expound your rules to cover trolling. There are a lot of troll on Nairaland that are trying to inflame society with inciting statements.

You cannot continue to do this for a nation that has supported just because you want traffic. Stand for something and stop falling for anything please!

I used to come to Nairaland to feel better and laugh and just feel good. But I will delete my account soon because I feel angry, sad, frustrated and disappointed when I come here now.

People complained and made fun of GEJ and the former first lady, but this insults against Nigerian and this ethnic trolling I have been observing on Nairaland?

I think I will leave Nairaland for people that want to other other ethnicities. Let them be insulting on here. Many people are leaving this forum because coming here makes their blood boil.

Enjoy the carcass of Nairaland.

I am surprise with the quality of staff in Nairaland - See how facebook, instagram, whatsapp, twitter and other social media are doing everything to expunge hate speech and put safeguards in place. Here in Nairaland, it is business as usual

Nairaland that was the toast of professionals and middle class in the mid 2000s has turned into an arena for tribal warlords and hate speech. I got all my jobs and consultancy works through this forum, including my PTDF oversea scholarship in the 2000s

Now, you cant read any other thing meaningful without seeing tribal insults and hate speech.

it's not just about doing good to your people ooo...I have always heard Umahi did this and that, best governor in performance, but they still burnt some of the structures he erected, which he has come out to say he will never renovate ,what can we say about that situation?...

It's about doing good. Do you realise that every governor has opponents?
Those who lost to him or those in the opposition party are always on the move against him.
The question you should ask is: Those who burnt it, what was their intention? What point we're they trying to prove?

But Donald Duke faced them closely, so? When people like and respect you, they won't harm you.

See there are security protocols around governors. Ideally, the governor is meant to listen to the advice of his security details. They see threats and know it when they see it.

Donald Duke is different from Ayade. Plus, times have changed.

No governor will ever face any of his citizens closely in a place where many people are without security. You can be mobbed out of excitement or some of those people who don't like your personally might take advantage and attack.

Na lie. Makinde was in the middle of his people while the protest was ongoing. If you voted yourself into power and did wicked things, you will hide when talking to your people. Fear of the right questions being asked that you cannot answer, which may turn to lynching is the beginning of wisdom for the wicked.

The one that will fear pass is that Kogi Governor. E sure me grin

When the idiot was distributing 54 SUV, he forgot of the theming poor people. The is the fool that said that he increase the number of special private advisors (SPA) to reduce poverty and unemployment.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/09/ayade-donates-54-suvs-to-council-officials-in-criver/

Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, gifts out 54 Sports Utility Vehicles to Chairmen and deputies of the 18 local government councils in the state

The 54 SUVs comprise of; 18 Ford Edge to the Local Government Chairmen, 18 Ford Escape to the Vice Chairmen and 18 Ford Ecosport to the leaders of Council.

During the presentation ceremony held at the Governor’s office in Diamond Hill, Calabar, Ayade, the Governor was represented by his deputy, Prof. Ivara Esu, he charged the officials to make effective use of the vehicles.

See get my point, I am not in any attempt hailing the governor as a good one or that he's doing well.

I also understand that some governors are not doing well. Hence, they surround themselves with security everywhere for fear of attack.

Now get my point, whether you are good or bad, every governor has security protocol.
I saw the picture of Makinde. The environment, people and situation are not EXACTLY the same.

Did you notice the security guyz around Makinde?
Pay attention to what they did to protect the governor.
Check Makinde's picture again.

The mods keep banning those who take it upon theirselve to stop hate and tribalism. This make someone like me to think this platform has been compromised. A lot of people who are familiar with nairaland in my area stop reading news on here because they believe the platform has been bought.

The worst is that i keep receiving strange calls, they are tracking me for preaching unity.
