on a lighter terms come to think of it, wat can we actually be proud as a Nigerian, no steady electricity, no good road, no water no even food, no good hospital no standard of education, no peace no security nothing at all except if ur lucky to have someone in power that's also looting. for 60yrs of Independence then were saying it will get better same thing our forefathers said and today they're no more still yet were still saying same thing which our children will also say d same thing. Though no time is late either to be happy as one or separate ways and be happy. 3 Likes |

From my observations Kanu should be the president While Dele to be VP. Because Kanu was not reading papers to answer questions Shows how talented he is. Likes for Kanu Shares for Buhari 11 Likes 1 Share |

ezenwajosh: Not igbo though but a socialist, but on the part of Britain I keep on saying it that while we blame our leaders for incompetence, the British Imperialists and their counterparts in the west designed Africa in such a way that it would fail, the energy Nigerians keep transferring to the Chinese people who haven't really done Africa any wrong should be transferred to the British people. During the civil war, the so called western democratic countries watched how children were being starved and malnourished, what did they do about it but they tend to accuse everyone of democracy. 2 Likes |

ezenwajosh: There's a common ground for situations like this, what happened to regional autonomy, like what you have in Hong Kong and catalonia, you can let the regions take charge of their future both economically and administratively while still keeping them part of the country if that's what they want in my own opinion though, is this so hard to think of. 1 Like 1 Share |

Wow very intelligent young Man. Life is all about learning. I learn that they is a problem and we can't be successful as a great Nation if we as a tribe, ethnic groups or regions don't have some things bonding us in common. With the happening in Nigeria comparing with our colonial Masters Britain we are not really free. Britain can not allow poor Nigerians in their country but they will allow rich Nigerians, politicians, etc. 3 Likes |

Arielle: This interview changed my view about him too. The Biafra agitation is justifiable and I like his non-violent approach. He is also now pursuing an inclusive agenda so he just won a supporter in me. I am a Yoruba man that has always believed in correcting the ills of the past, especially the unjust treatment of our Igbo friends across the Niger. Kanu has further convinced me that the Biafra project is noble and pragmatic. This long interview held me spellbound. Great oratory skills! 4 Likes |

This Kanu is a hypocrite. How can you say Nigeria should be changed because a foreigner gave it the name but you see nothing wrong in adopting the name Biafra also given by a foreigner? What does the name 'Biafra ' mean in Igbo language. Is the name Igbo? Why don't you adopt an Igbo name to reflect the Igbo identity than the Biafra that we all know is a European creation. It is named after a geographical location spanning from Gabon, through Cameroon to some part of Nigeria by Europeans, called the Bight of Biafra. Ojukwu adopted it to suit his expansionist agenda without including Gabon and Cameroon. Kanu is now doing the same. Until you change the name Biafra to Igbo nation, I will not take you serious. Biafra and Nigeria are the white man's creation. |

Elose11: It is normal to react like this especially when most black people learn stereotyped garbages in school in the name of academic degrees. It is philosophy that provokes logical thinking. I think what you should ask yourself is, "who gave the name Biafra and how was the name Biafra given?". Was the name Biafra given to assemble people into nationhood or for mere free trade zones(through the waters especially)? If you listened well he said the name can be changed under a unified southern nation. But we know who gave the name "Nigeria" and we know the name Nigeria never existed till the white man named you Nigeria" The logical intentions is not totally centered on the meaning but that what you can't do in Europe (renaming a nation) is what you accepted. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

He also mentioned that for 60 years you have no 24/7 light. No roads, poor education. Health sector in shambles etc But what fascinates me about black people is that you won't get up to 2 pages in this section expressing their disappointment on Nigeria. Any of their protests is always mediocre. you have never protested about the faulty foundation because it is for the good of everybody. You have never protested about the huge salaries of the national assembly because it is for the good of everybody. But you can protest against endsars because it affects mostly the south or you can protest against insurgency because it affects only the north. Doesn't this give a pointer that you are technically balkanized? |
