I can bet that you'd hardly find any senator that can present eloquent facts as he just did with great composure. I feel he got my respect after this speech. See I first listened to Kanu in February of 2015 and got addicted. My most highly intelligent living black men in world today still remains Neil deGrasse Tyson and Nnamdi Kanu. You only listened to him for an hour plus and immediately changed your view about him. You need to listen to him more for you to appreciate what i'm saying.

His philosophy, Methods and way of reasoning are very unique. His type are people who should be leading Africa politically not these primitive savages we have in power. He is an asset and needed to be protected.

The lesson here is, you don't get to judge a man mainly because the media and most people on social media talk ill of him, you need to hear from the man before you conclude.

Wow, I had never listened to Nnamdi Kanu before now. In fact, I considered him stupid and highly tribalised with his followers but having listened to this interview I must confess that I am impressed. He is intelligent, erudite, passionate and almost all his views are all in line with most peoples views on Nigeria and the way forward. Which is for the South to unite and move forward or Restructure or break up to your tents. The only difference between Nnamdi Kanu and the rest of us is that he has the balls to push for it while many of us like to Sidon the look or rather run away from this backward country to where things are working. There's a common ground for situations like this, what happened to regional autonomy, like what you have in Hong Kong and catalonia, you can let the regions take charge of their future both economically and administratively while still keeping them part of the country if that's what they want in my own opinion though, is this so hard to think of.

This Kanu is a hypocrite. How can you say Nigeria should be changed because a foreigner gave it the name but you see nothing wrong in adopting the name Biafra also given by a foreigner? What does the name 'Biafra ' mean in Igbo language. Is the name Igbo? Why don't you adopt an Igbo name to reflect the Igbo identity than the Biafra that we all know is a European creation. It is named after a geographical location spanning from Gabon, through Cameroon to some part of Nigeria by Europeans, called the Bight of Biafra. Ojukwu adopted it to suit his expansionist agenda without including Gabon and Cameroon. Kanu is now doing the same. Until you change the name Biafra to Igbo nation, I will not take you serious. Biafra and Nigeria are the white man's creation.
