Those who are waiting for decisions should send webforms to the Beijing office. I did that last week. I sent like 3 sef. You can never tell.
How do we know which office is treating our applications?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by Siobhanle: 8:53am On Nov 02, 2020
Just got my PPR after waiting since first week of February!!!
I applied on the 6th of February, got medical request on the 3rd of March. Passed medicals on the 12th and I didn’t hear anything from Ircc till July when I got my bvl from Nairobi. I didn’t get AIP so I had to defer till winter 2021 semester.
I sent them so many strong worded web forms (to every visa office; Kenya, Ghana, London and even China) this past two weeks (at some point I even felt like I was being rude but I did not care after waiting for almost nine months).
I even made my friend to email her MP in Canada and I sent emails (the same strong worded email) to the minister of immigration and and the PM . Anyways this morning I got an email from cic and lo and behold, my ppr.
This platform and the people behind it were really helpful so I wanted to say thank you! And to those waiting, it’s probably coming sooner than you expect!
Special mention to justexcellent and frank for being there to listen to me rant and help me out.

Also for those who have submitted their passports what’s the process? Thanks!

I think most of our applications have been routed to China due to the Covid-19 situation. I am not sure but this is a possibility since 90% of the approvals so far have been from there.

Congrats! I might have to ask my brother to do the same. You guys have similar timelines. Which Visa office did you get your PPR from?

Thank you. The journey is not easy at all. I believe your own will come soon. November will give all of us good news.

I can at least rest now. I was already sliding into depression.

Happy new month to y'all. There are many things in this our journey to Canada so please forgive this my question, in this regard, I want to ask if is there any document I can get from the Court to show I am in a relationship with my boyfriend? I have gotten approval and I didn't show him in my application, I will like to get such document to send to ircc so that he will be able to join/visit me by next year.

We're considering getting married (proper marriage rite) by late next year so we are not considering getting marriage certificate at the moment.

If there's such document, please how can I send it to ircc to update them about my status.

Hello UBCcookies,

At this time, it isn't appropriate to send in such information when a common-law relationship wasn't initially declared. If you'd knew, you would have mentioned him in your letter and this makes it easier to lay future claims about him been your fiancé.

What you should do is abstain from sending any such information to IRCC. Instead, look into the brighter future by starting to build concrete evidence between both of you from now on. It would be much advised to do the following as part of proof of relationship which would be very important for any future application when you intend to sponsor or invite him. See below some;

1. Open a joint account

2. Establish close ties with each other's families by demonstrating with pictures etc. This could be with both or either parents, siblings, aunty, uncle etc

3. If applicable, open a social media account i.e. Facebook, Instagram etc and decorate it with pictures of both of you during outings, ceremonies, with families etc

4. Old or current receipt of rented apartment or evidence of cohabiting together i.e. utility bills, property joint ownership etc

5. Old or present conversational chats detailing romance, pet talks, plans of getting married, having kids, establishing, investment etc which should demonstrate clear intentions of achieving them together. This could be WhatsApp, Facebook or the likes.

6. Evidence of him taking responsibility of your certain needs at some point (if applicable)

The lowdown will definitely suffice when its time to sponsor him or invite him over as a common-law partner or fiancé.

All the best

Please I got admission at Conestoga college Waterloo campus to study global hospitality management at post graduate level, I studied mass communications as first degree over here in Nigeria.....
But my visa was refused because of two reasons

1)am not satisfied you will leave Canada after study based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence

2)am not satisfied you will leave Canada based on your purpose of visit

My father is my sponsor and it stated clearly every financial document and capacity well gathered and submitted too

Please I wanna re apply what should I get right?

Bro before you travel again try to visit a country if your passport is virgin, also your course doesn’t tally ( mass com and global hospital management? ) you should search for another course more similar to yours. Home tile too. If you’re an OBO get your parents to transfer one of their properties to your name, also make sure your SOP is done. Think ahead... give the VO reasons to believe you’ll definitely come back

Hello. Please I want to ask how feasible is to get visa if you are a 2:1 graduate with admission from a college.
I heard that it is a red flag if you use an admission from a college instead of a university and you have a 2:2
Omo this your question is confusing oo. How do you mean exactly? If you had a 2:1 it doesn’t mean you must apply for a university you can decide to go to a college.

Thanks sir.
I actually did it through my agent who works in the actual immigration Canada office there.

The documents I submitted were admission letter, tuition payment document, letter of acceptance, use of representative, acceptance letter, Family information, Medical report, Police report, sponsorship letter and proof of finances and study visa application.

The only large sum of money that came in that reflected within the Staatement report was from the sale of a property.
And no, there was no Landed property submitted.
Tuition for a year is 16700cad

hmm, thanks bro

Sorry about that bro, I suggest you order your gcms notes to know hwta caused it. Its like most people who used agents like us got denied. Just saying
