Hi guys. I've got a Redmi N9s but it's Internet speed is always very slow when connected to WiFi. Has anyone noticed anything similar

My IPhone would receive the same hot-spot at 14mbps while my Redmi N9s would receive at 985kbps

I just pray this works because you skipped a Major update to Android 10

If this doesn't work then you will have to download android 10 update first before this.

https://bigota.d.miui.com/V12.0.2.0.QFGEUXM/miui_LAVENDEREEAGlobal_V12.0.2.0.QFGEUXM_d20d8676c8_10.0.zip

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 11/12 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Hello guys
I give my sister a small Huawei phone. She changed the password and she's unable to remember that.
I took the phone to a friend and he flashed it.
I tried to set up the device and when I put the previous email used on the phone, it says "please login using one of the owners device"
How can I fix that please.

The guy you gave the phone to flash should have removed the Google lock.
Take the phone back to him to fix it

Force restart your phone by holding the power button for 15 seconds. If your phone is hot let it cool down. Ensure the USB Cable is properly inserted at both ends.

Is there anyone here using adoptable storage on their phone?
My phone internal memory is low and slow, so I was wondering if its a good idea to use it.
So no answer to this question?

.

If I talk now someone will say I'm not nice

Anyway, I'm not using adoptable storage but it seems it is slower (go figure) and perhaps less reliable. I dunno how true those things are

Probably better to declutter by saving files online, using an otg and keeping only frequently accessed files on the phone

Also, consider changing the phone to one with a bigger storage

I've moved everything movable from internal to external storage, but the memory is still filled up.
If there was a way to uninstall Mi apps without rooting, I would have loved to uninstall them.
Changing phone is not on my budget for now.

Poco users, at least in Nigeria, no plenty reach Redmi users. Same as Mi users..

Well, they have to start from somewhere. Abi. They'll not wait for the world to have iPhone 11 charging brick before implementing this.

I think it's a step in the right direction. In the years to come, most iphone users would have caught up and would not need the charging brick.

My own opinion or maybe I just have a soft spot for apple
yes you have
