Man Brutalized And Almost Shot By Soldiers Who Mistook Him For Someone Else In Rivers State (Photos)

A man narrowly escaped death after he was allegedly almost shot by soldiers in Oyigbo, Rivers state, IgbereTV reports.

To enforce order in Oyigbo, a curfew was imposed and soldiers have been parading the area.

One man in Oyigbo was allegedly beaten up by soldiers after they mistook him for someone else. Fortunately, another soldier intervened and revealed he was mistaken for someone else.

Photos of the man are going viral online and show him with bruises and whip marks on his face and all over his body.

Narrating what allegedly happened, a pastor named Chigozie Nosiri wrote:

Unfortunately, uniformed people feel like they are invincible. They forget that they are human beings. D police that were forming dons, are now afraid for their lives. Hopefully, d military might have to go thru d same orientation d police went thru in order to restore sanity& ensure a better military/civilian relationship

Except DSS and immigration, other law enforcement agencies are filled with political Thugs in Nigeria.

That's why they share quotas to their political cadres during employment:

1.Governors' candidates (their political thugs and relatives)
2. Senators' candidates ( their political thugs and relatives) down to councillors.

While millions of educated and Wise ones are roaming the street and striving to survive in the hands of foolish thugs and nonentities called police and army in Nigeria.

That's Nigeria for you. God will help us

Panel beaters can't even work like this..... Why is it that the first thing our security agents do is beating, even when they are not sure about the identity of suspects?

Isn't that absurd?
They do so to coerce the suspect (whether innocent or guilty) into confessing he or she committed a crime even without proof.
To the Soldiers you are already guilty

Soldiers are human beings just like anyone of us. I have witnessed a man o' war guy beat d living daylight out of a soldier& tore his uniform. People only respect their uniforms but they don't no where their powers start& ends. D police once felt that way, but here we are today. D same police are afraid to go back to work. D military shouldn't feel they are invincible & wait b4 d people turn on them before they start acting with civility

Sue the Army. At least ur hustling for pay. Having said that, u can't find the army outside the barracks in any sane society. The army is always keen and overzealous in their dealings with civilians, they, on the other hand, cower at the mention of boko haram. U will never hear of such things in the north.

IPOB keeps losing out because they're very mild. What Wike did to IPOB was give a dog a bad name and hang it.

IPOB are just halfway in truce; confused whether to go all out or be 0% mild and soft.

If they're 0% mild, the Fulanis will overrun them in their states and ultimately dispossess them of their lands (like currently happening in Jos)
If they're 50% aggressive (tough but no arms), the soldiers and police would keep making light of them

Then maybe, just maybe go the Boko Haram style, get grade A weapons and ammunition. Bombs, suicide bombers and advanced weapons. Then fully live up to the name of the 'terrorist' label the govt mischievously put on them.

It's better they get afflicted that way than what we're currently seeing. If anyone then dies, he'll die more fulfilled.
