The OP is 'doing well'. I'm sure with time he will touch on some or perhaps all the issues you're interested in.

Quite an interesting thread.

Kudos to you, Op.

I think the essence of this thread is to enlighten our brothers/sisters here present who intends to emigrate to China. At least from the details of his analysis so far, there are massive opportunities for those that are smart and hardworking.

However, all things being equal, Canada is still my first choice.

1. Please what immigration route did you take to China that is making your stay legitimate?

2.Also tell us other alternatives that can help us get a legitimate stay in china.

3. Kindly tell us the cost of each route.

Thanks

Sorry for the delay guys, take my advice, when your mind isn’t straight don’t drive, Bike, car or whatever.
I had a bike accident 2days ago and I wasn’t feeling too good that’s why I haven’t updated yet, I’m okay though just a sprained wrist and some few bruises... please bear with me I’ll update as much as possible soon

China does not accept immigrants. Even if you marry a Chinese national the highest you can get is 6months or 1 year Visa. To get a legitimate stay you need business visa, work visa or student visa which are renewable yearly.
Cost of each route depends on the type of visa.....The most issued work visas are for English teachers and Nigeria is not considered a Native English speaking country so your best option is Student visa. Note that students are not allowed to work and China is not a place to live with expired visa

Thanks for the response.

My intentions are:

1. to live legitimately in China,
2. to havefreedom to buy things and ship to Nigeria, and
3. also get my self trained in one or two skills while living in China legitimately

What kind of Visa will likely be easier and cheaper for me?

Kindly give an estimate of money it might cost if you have an idea

Thanks

The easiest and most comfortable way is to get
a student visa, it can even be Chinese language study (¥12,000 to ¥16,000) per year. This will help you improve your Chinese proficiency and you will be able to communicate with your Chinese clients. Also Chinese language course carries 1 year Resident permit which is renewable every year after finishing the course then you can register your company and get M visa. You can buy things and ship to Nigeria even on Student visa as long as you don't have problem in your University. If they see you're not attending classes they can cancel your visa. Yes, you can get trained in any skills it depends on your relationship with the trainer, language proficiency and the type of skills

Like I said before, china doesn’t have states, they have provinces and municipalities, and the cities and districts, the Province i live in is called Guangdong, and in Under Guangdong province you have many cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Foshan, Huizhou, shantou and a lot more, I have lived in Shenzhen before, and I will talk about there a little as time goes on, for now I live in GZ so I’m talking about GZ for now Gz is like the capital of Guangdong, and under GZ you have districts like Tienhe, Liwan, Baiyun, Yuexiu, hangpu, panyu, Nansha, Huadu, zengcheng and conghua.
Tienhe is like the Capital District Of GZ, a very bubbly place, with lots of high rise buildings shopping malls 5atar hotels beautiful metro station 5 star restaurants A huge sport center and a big stadium, where Guangzhou Evagrande plays their home matches. It’s a very nice place to live in that’s if you can afford it grin wink the few pictures I’m posting are from around Tienhe

And just enjoy this? And anyone who has any personal question to ask feel free to send a dm I’ll try as much as possible to answer u to the best of my knowledge and help in anyway I can.. They did all this cos GZ if just like a more developed Lagos and it’s a business Hub so there are so many people and a lot of cars trust me if the allow everyone drive cars, they won’t be able to control the traffic,
But one thing I love about this people is how they were able to add technology to everything they do, even transportation that’s why I really wanted to talk about this, If your house is far from the nearest metro station with your Alipay or wechat you can easily find Hello bike, mobike or a wechat bike scan the code and the bike unlocks and you can drive to the nearest metro, and you would be charged a little or nothing, they also have one small car called the wechat car, if you have a drivers license you can easily find any of these cars scan the code and drive to wherever you’re going to, and just pack and lock them when you get there, are you also going somewhere and your battery is getting low? You can walk to the nearest shop there are power bank stands almost everywhere, just scan the code with either you wechat and Alipay and you can get one, and find a similar power box anywhere and plug it back in, one thing about this people is they never stop thinking of ways to make life easier for everybody and they keep advancing.

You said you can easily access the bike or car with a scan code?
Do you have an exact place where you can find them or just anywhere and also, do have to return them back to the exact same point where u picked it up.

What if you wanna drive it to the airport while traveling?

Please elaborate more on this, We learn everyday! Nice thread anyway

they are basically everywhere in the city, and you can leave them anywhere you like as long as you lock them, if you can ride them from Lagos to Guangzhou, nobody will stop you, nah your body go hear am
