Hello House, I applied for an emergency appointment and I have been scheduled for 13th Nov, I got an email and I was told to print the email as that will serve as my invitation...my question is do I still need to fill anything on the regular appointment webpage??

Good day everyone.

Urgent information please! My school asked for a FedEx shipping address. Please what can I make use of in response to their request?

Use a VPN. I downloaded ProtonVPN. In an hour plus, I was done. I highly recommend it.

Thank You. I've already figured out a way around it.

Submit your home address

I just need to clarify this. How then would I pick up the document if I make use of my home address. I thought I was expected to submit one of FedEx's pick up locations in Nigeria.

Please do explain further. Thanks

I subbed my 9mobile and updated my Chrome Browser and it worked, for some reason Firefox would not work no matter how many times I installed it.

Thanks.

One more thing to the house, Since I finished my undergrad last December, I was waiting for NYSC when I started applying so no job experience yet. What do I fill for Primary Occupation?

Where ever your location is, there should be a FedEx office near it I assume. The FedEx guys would call you when it gets to their office and based on your address you might need to direct the person to your location where they'll meet you, or maybe pick a neutral place idk.

Thats what I did

People who have gone through this procedure would respond to you soon, I believe.
Please what date precisely did you apply? And where, Abuja or Lagos?

Please, am having my interview next tomorrow for Lagos embassy. For those who have done theirs before, where can one keep his phone at the embassy because I will be needing to use my phone for direction and order uber to the venue. Also, how do one get money, is there an ATM around or we be expected to come with money for the reciprocity fee and can one go inside the embassy with the cash??
Thank you

To those that have gone to the embassy, please, is the reciprocating fee one of the things they will check before entrying the embassy/consulate? Abuja or Lagos?
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thank you in anticipation.
Re: General USA Student Visa Enquiries-part 15 by jayzen(f): 7:44pm On Nov 04, 2020
No they won't check but you'll be advised to have it with you as you go in. It's a repeated warning. Have it with you as you go in.

The reciprocity fee only becomes relevant when you ace the interview. If your visa interview is successful, you will need to pay it in cash immediately after your conversation with the VO. I don't think they 'check' it when you are entering, but they expect you to have it at hand.
This is for both Abuja and Lagos.

They won’t check but you had better hold it if you hope to get the Goodnews so you won’t have to tell stories that touch when you get approved

Brotherly you better avoid village people, that thought of wanting to order Uber to the interview just quickly dash it now, except you are able to make an agreement with the Uber driver a day before the interview.

I believe there might be ATM’s around but still it’s better to hold the cash at hand.

I don't understand. Please is ordering Uber's an issue especially if you reside in Lagos not too far from the embassy?

I've been thinking about handling my phone too. How much does it cost for someone to hold on to it?

Oh well... you can get a friend to book the ride for you. The driver doesn’t need to know you aren’t with your phone if you are worried about security. Or Just book from home on ur phone... once the driver is outside, leave the phone and get in the car.

I think there are lockers there too. Not sure about this though cos I didn’t use it but I was told there are. Maybe someone else can reply on this locker point.
