Lagos is blessed with lots of beautiful attractions and the Jubilee Charlet didn't disappoint me. It is one of the most beautiful and serene resorts I have ever visited. Lagos has once again proved it is the centre of excellence. I have always gotten this vibe of Government-owned tourist attractions are not usually well maintained. With Jubilee Chalets the story is a different one. This is one of the most beautiful resort I have visited. Beauty does not only lie in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty lies here.
At first, I didn't know what to expect so I didn't bother checking out reviews online I wanted to either be blown away or just cry for making me waste 4 hours going to Epe.

This place blew my mind away and made up for the 3 hours drive. Epe is one of the most underrated cities in Lagos. The city has a good road network, calm and peaceful.

Epe is a coastal town that shares a border with Ogun State. It is about 2 and a half hours drive from Lekki phase one.

The only problem I have with them is that they open to lodging by 2pm and insist that you check out by 11am next day. That falls completely below standards worldwide. It is ok to fix lodging by 2pm (to enable you clean the rooms when you have full lodging) but asking you to leave by 11am when you should at least be allowed to leave by 12noon is so not proper. Because of that nonesense I use Epe Resort which is about 10minutes drive in between.

Ambode was a seer. He was smart to achieve a lot for his hometown in his short period as a governor.

Nice but;

The architectural design of the Silo-like reception can be better enhance especially the roof.
The Lagos State Govt has been doing alot to ensure self sufficiency without necessarilly looking up to Abuja for the sustainance of their economy.

I hope those whose only ambition in life is to destroy the small small achievements of Lagos will not add this to their list in their next plan.
