Congratulations Oga Oracle!!!Except that though you saw the promise land, but I'm not sure you're partaking in it huh?
I find this assertion a bit insensitive , are you his portfolio manager to know if he is partaking or not??. The deep pockets on this thread don't display portfolio status like some monikers do. grin

Few weeks ago we said it was unnecessary to swap UBA for ACCESS on the back of just 1 quarter result and because both stocks move like simaese twins.

The event of the past few days have shown that there may be some small sense in that arguement. We still keep Observing. grin

The much anticipated amugbo , Ragamuffin BULL has entered the market and everyone is claiming to be professional stock picker. grin

I also see some monikers accumulating Covid infected stocks like no tommorrow. As it was in 2008 so it might be in 2020. Apply caution and don't abandon your investment principles, very soon water may find its level again.

If the BULL don mad, if the bull don Kolo? Must you follow am Kolo? Don't get lost in the euphoria.

These few stocks are the ones I think still have some miles to cover before this bull is over . They were chosen either because of their current intrinsic value or because they are still trading below their Year high. Zenith, Wapco, Access, ETI, JB, UBA, Dangsugar etc (For people entering the market in this Bullish era)

Stocks that are trading above their fair Value Dangote cement, UCAP,Afriprud, FCMB, GTB,Guinness

Feel free to Add yours. Newbies should know that overvalued and unhealthy stocks also move with the Bull.

New entrants here needs rRabbitheoracle to come and prophecies when the bullish run may likely end to avoid regrets.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was surprised that selydion said it's the only fundamental stock left. I am still wondering why the hit in their 9months result was that bad considering that they have lots of jobs ongoing particularly in the south east and south south. I hold some quantity BTW but will appreciate anyone who could shed some light into why their earnings turned negative. Perhaps they will pay dividends from their retained earnings
pluto09:
JB posted a negative earning nine month ended September 2020.
The stock market could be very unpredictable though.
Last year was good for the company but the price did not go anywhere.

We are in a bull market and I think we are getting to a point where prices are driving up more by sentiment than any fundamental.
Will not be surprised if JB joins the bull even with the negative earning.

Meristem customer service is cool. I wrote to them about my account being suspended, and i could not trade in the afternoon. This evening they replied
me informing that the problem has been resolved, that it was CSCS that blocked my account and not SEC. And that I can start trading tomorrow wink

If you have similar problem, write to them.

You ought to have known the Oracle's investment strategy by now.
He always exit the market as soon as he meets his invesment goal.
I think it is reasonable for someone to convert his paper profit to cash, after making 100% or more, from a stock.

Na wa oh!
Is it that people cannot post in peace and share their opinions here again ?
Did anyone stop Meine or any professional here from giving their stock picks ? Is anyone paying someone to post here? Do you bother to know if those posting stock picks did their research as well? Or do you think there are no TA/FA sound guys here aside the known professionals?
I think attack on people posting their opinions should stop. Post yours, caution if needs be, give professional advice and stop discouraging posters.
Even the so called covid infected stocks delivered and are still delivering in 100s and 200% or even more........

Anyway, just passing by.......don't have much strength for argument, Burundi bull still dey in town. tongue

@intendy well done, that your list long well well today...... grin

I recall. But this one is yet to outperform that year.
Wema hit 1.60
Diamond and fcmb hit 3.5
Fidelity hit 3.9
Transcorp hit 2.6
I only recall penny stocks cos that's where I play
You may be right but I was referring to the fund entering and the volumes, I doubt if 2018 own matches this.

Why is Fidelity lacking behind FCMB....the gap is too wide
Fidelity is also doing the catch-up.........but FCMB's last result was very good, this should be the reason for the overtaking.
Another good one is expected in Q3, I hope they don't disappoint.

As for me, anytime uba trades higher than access, that's a sell signal for me cos I know in due time, the prices will find their level......,

I consider prices during a prolonged bear the true prices one should pay for a stock, bull prices are jara to dividend income

Their quarterly reports are usually harp harzard.........

They might probably report a high eps @ full year report though I doubt as I feel covid really disrupted its business operations

The bullish market is a term that represents a period of continous and aggressive increase in share prices, while a bearish period represent a time of continuous and aggressive decline in share prices.

We are debating the current bull because it's very high on kwale weed .
