Rubbish!!! Why are non Fulanis allowing themselves to be used....see as this Vice President is selling his region because of little power as Vice President.

Let Buhari use his mouth and say it.....

Some Ibos and the Yorubas will never learn from the past.

Of course, they keep focusing only on the North.
Apart from Lagos or maybe Abuja,no other state currently can stand on it's own without those oil proceeds.

We restructure and go back to regions!...State creation was a divide and rule trick

sulaak:

How can you have effective management in a structure that allocate the majority of the resources to the least productive region? The least productive regions control the army, politics and economics yet the outcome is insecurity, poverty and underdevelopment in that region.

Restructure Nigeria into six regions will force each region to develop its IGR.

Rubbish imagination, for lack of vision my people perish, please tell me what Okowa & pdp did with 218 billion in 2108, & 219 billion Naira in 2019?

Under the present formula, the Federal government gets 52.68% of all statutory revenue, while states and local governments get 26.72% and 20.60% respectively.

Revenues from Value Added tax (VAT) are shared differently, with the Federal Government getting 15%, States 50% and Local Governments 35%.

States with the highest FAAC allocation.
Delta state got the highest cumulative FAAC allocation last year, among the 36 states. The state got a total of N213 billion. Closely following is Akwa Ibom state which received N202.3 billion in 2018. Rivers State takes third place with a total of N172 received as FAAC allocation in 2018.

States with the lowest FAAC allocation
On the flip side, Osun state had the smallest FAAC allocation last year. The state received a total of N22.84 billion. Next was Cross River which received a total of N36.95 billion in 2018. Ekiti State was next with a total of N39.3 billion as cumulative FAAC allocation last year

This is completely dishonest, I am disappointed in him.

The structure really?

It's like scrapping SARS for SWAT without proper reorientation, medical evaluation, psychological therapy, dialogue training, adoption of non-lethal force/weapons, etc
The problem will always be there.

That's exactly what the vice president is saying. These problems must also be tackled.

Very correct, if there is effective management of the available resources, restructuring will be useless, most state don't have much IGR to sustain a state, some will be malnourished and some will be well developed

u fail to understand something,,we can develop a restructured Nigeria in such a way dat individual states will not suffer...if d restructuring is properly done, there won't be marginalization..d kind of restructuring Nigeria needs now is regional based..d 36 states of Nigeria can be collapsed into our 6 geopolitical zones... which means d representation at d federal level should be collapsed into d regional structure.. dat time a Governor of a region will be a mini president,,while d head of each state under a region will be d office of d deputy to d regional Governor,,so one one regional Governor will have several deputies from each state,,and there would house of rep and house of Assembly structure in each region to create more representation... at d federal level there would be just one legislative chamber(d senate),,,so how would there be marginalization? dat system will just too fluid

Nigeria's problem is corruption not restructuring.

Niger delta squander trillions of oil money then starts shouting the reason why Niger delta I underdeveloped is cause of the north, that its restructuring and resource control they want bla bla bla mumu people

Nigeria's problem is illiteracy and stupidity the Citizens are stupid Nigerians know in Nigeria cannot develop the country but they will still go and food for themselves when they are suffering they are happy. In Nigeria we kick all the Industries out of the country the next day he wants his children to go and work for those same industry in other countries. When I was in the UK and America every time you hear Nigerians telling themselves we cannot develop a country next minute they are going to vote for themselves

I have not always lived in Nigeria in fact I've lived mostly abroad and noticed that the present status quo makes state leaders lazy and fat ,to the detriment of the citizens, all they do is wait for federal handout and loot it.Restrcturing would make them busier ,more pro active and accountable. There are rich states in the US and poor ones but all are working close to their maximum ability. Restructuring might weed out bad lazy leaders

Osinbajo thinks he’s smarter than everybody else. Even if u manage resources well how do u ensure we states or zones perform to full potential??

So why can’t his government be prudent for almost 6years even with massive borrowing.

You know what? The best thing is to divide this country. I do not believe anyone, however well intent and skilled, have the ability to resolve chaos in zoo and return all the rampaging animals back in their cage.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a prophet. He already prophesized this zoo cannot be fixed by anyone. Everybody go home now, Nigeria is dead.

Without restructuring we can't build the needed institutions we need to sustain the country. Ask yourself why almost nothing is working in Nigeria. The structure is defective. There are so many things that are not right with Nigeria, and this is why leaders after leaders cannot turn Nigeria around.

3 set of people in Nigeria:
1. Those that don't know at all & don't want to learn

2. Those that don't know & willing to learn

3. Those that know too much & as a result start doubting & questioning what they know.

He belongs to the 3rd category.

See beyond your hatred and bitterness, the suggestion for restructuring was bore out of the fulani/hausa favouritism and wastage of resources on the place which proper management of resources would have solved

What exactly are you saying, is restructuring into regional resource management not a "proper management of resources"? Why making it look as if it's something else entirely. In a situation where different regions are saying they aren't getting as much attention from the center as they deserve, a new structure needs to be put in place to address that. That process is called restructuring. We can then go ahead to discuss the nitty gritties of the new structure.

You are educated, don't let these politicians play word tricks on you.
