Nnemomatina:Did you communicate with your trust about all of this? If you had 90days until last month October, why didn't you travel as flights have resumed since? Pls discuss with your trust HR or Medical staffing as well. |

Oggg: Yes, I communicated with my agent, he has given me resumption date, although my COS is still carrying my previous resumption date (April). the agent knows my reasons and paid for the vignette replacement for me, my concern is the outcome from Ukvi.. Has anyone been in this shoe before? Did they replace it? |

Christabeliciou: Download the form you filled from your gov.uk account. It's available for download for 8 months after an application. Verify what amount you stated from this form and then proceed from there. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by omopapa: 2:08pm On Nov 17, 2020 |
Hi christabeliciou, I read through your refusal letter and the ECO mentioned “You state that you wish to visit the UK for 13 days for tourism and to visit a friend. You have said that this visit will cost you £2,258.56. You have indicated that you are employed with an income of 220,000NGN (£435.46) per month plus additional income of 816,360NGN (£1,615.89) per year and spend 112,615NGN (£222.90) per month.” With this, your disposable income is (220,000-112,615)x2 = 214,770 (£425.10) meaning ur budget should not exceed 214,770NGN You stated your budget is £1k (505,220NGN) which is obviously above ur disposable income 4 Likes |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 5:49pm On Nov 17, 2020 |
omopapa:U hve still calculated WRONGGGGGGGGGLY!! There is an additional income of 68k per month. Bringing total monthly income to 288k. If u deduct her expenses its about 176 disposable income monthly and twice of that bein 352k. Eco acknowledged the addtional income. Even if as it were that been included, ECO wrongly assessed her application using a wrong budget and still went on to say it is times 10 her income. This is where she is seeking reconsideration because ‘technically’ ECO didn't assess her accurately. |

For one who earns a salary of 106 to 180k depending on the overtime worked and also receive another monthly income of 108k from investment (3 months old) but no MOU to show for that. but from the account it shows the amount comes in monthly. Please what are the chances of getting visa approval? Please kindly assist |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by omopapa: 8:28am On Nov 18, 2020 |
Usually you have to wait atleast 6months to 1year before reapplying so you are not seen as desperate. For someone that earns 220k u might want to limit ur monthly expenses to 40k or less so you can have enough disposable income. However, you have declared ur expenses in the previous application to be around 112k so you have to give a valid reason and explain what has changed that brought down ur living expenses Christabeliciou: |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 11:54am On Nov 18, 2020 |
Iykegp123:Ur finances are shaky. Try and get paperwork to defend the investment of 108k if u would want to use it as a buffer to your monthly salary |
What was the reason for the refusal and have you tackle it??[/qu The ECO felt the money in my accounts wasn't mine and available to me for the trip. I will say yes because i got a raise in pay from 240k to 287k and after all deductions i get 135k. so what do you gurus say? N.B: Got a biz on the side plus two properties where i get rent and other investments. |

Mehn all these calculations ♂️♂️for income and expenditure sha.... I just got my 2yrs from tls, I applied this month and got it yesterday. I don’t really think all these are compulsory, I feel if you have enough income and what you intend to spend alongside property or investments documents youre good na. Even my letter (cos I run my firm) I didn’t explain anything money ♂️. Just told them I’m going for vacation and the kinda work I do. The form I filled my monthly expense and annual income. I’m just wondering how all these calculations arise... but ten Weldone 2 Likes |

Grandeur007: It's really crazy but then what can one do than to abide by the rules. It's their country and they decide who comes in. Did my best to prove I am up to the game but they felt I was lieing. Will try again, cos I already promised my son. I work, earn about 287k, do biz too and got my properties. Same for wifey, yet they believe we ain't for real. No qualms, now. We'll try again but this time I will be relying on the experts in here to guide me. Thanks and cheers! |
