I need suggestions or proposals for investment of the sum of N16 million for a period of 26 months starting from October 2020.

All sectors of the economy are welcome excluding forex trading and other online businesses with vague processes, just make sure you can defend your proposal with evidence of past performance.

I would also consider investing in a viable business venture but would need to exit by November 2022

Modified
Please no start-ups, only businesses that are currently running and have done so continuously for at least 24 months (Agro businesses 36 months)

You must have evidence that the business is commercially viable

Also note, I am not interested in a business which you have never done before but which you think is viable because you have seen others doing it

For export businesses, your overseas client must be ready to issue confirmed Letter of Credit

For those outside Lagos you must be ready to provide a collateral that is movable or is located in Lagos. You must also be ready for at least one physical meeting where you will present your proposal and supporting documents
Give me a fraction of this money, let me take live bet to another level... Chai

All i see here is the same thing over and over again. Desperate replies and what looks like people knowing what they can really do with money.. Real estate is good but its the same with other real estate company's struggling.

Everyone Struggles in Business at a point at every given stage, all those saying i can teach you why haven't you thought yourself or why haven't you raised the 16M

Even Dangote and Otedola still dey learn Business, don't be myopic about this things please.

N16M is a lot and can only be used properly in a start up if you ask me that way you're serious about it and you see the money grow. Nobody can make money for anybody Sir.

The best errand is the one you sent your self... Find a startup with a good business model and lock it in. I could hint you on something else to use this money for and get your ROI Steady for life but it can't say it here (08103040333)

There are several businesses you can start and run profitably in Nigeria. Below are four that readily comes to mind:

1. Rice Milling: One of the best businesses one can venture into in Nigeria today is parboiled rice production (Rice Milling).

Nigerians currently consume over 5 million metric tons, which is equivalent to over 100 million 50Kg bags of rice annually. With the current population growth rate of Nigeria, the consumption of rice is estimated to reach about 35 million metric tons (700 million 50Kg bags) by the year 2050.

There is high demand for rice in Nigeria. With a population of over 180 million people and an estimated national population growth rate of 5.7% per annum ,an average economic growth rate of 3.5% per annum in the past five {5} years, Nigeria has a large and growing market for rice.

As it stands, the current producers of good quality rice in the country cannot even meet up to 50% of the current demand. This is the reason why the market is flooded with poorly produced and low quality rice.

New entrants into the rice milling industry that can produce good quality parboiled rice will have an evergreen market waiting to be sold to.

2. Drinking Water Production: Another good business that does very well in Nigeria is drinking water production (Bottled water and Sachet Water).

The growth of the middle class in Africa in general, and Nigeria to be specific, has led to a need for hygienically produced and well packaged food products like bottled water.

The market for packaged water is high and cut across all parts of the country. With a population of over one hundred and eighty million (180,000,000) people, and an estimated national population growth is 5.7% per annum, Nigeria has a large and sustainable market for packaged water.

3. Poultry Farming: Poultry farming is yet another business that gives good returns on investment.

Poultry farming has risen to become one of the most lucrative businesses in Nigeria today. This aspect of livestock farming, if set-up and managed properly, provides legitimate continuous income for entrepreneurs within a short period of time. There are over 160 million consumers in Nigeria and over one billion in Africa. This provides a large, growing and sustainable market for poultry farmers in Nigeria, and Africa in general.

4. Pounded Yam Flour Production: Pounded yam flour is another product that you can chose the invest in its production.

Pounded yam is a popular delicacy produced from boiled yam tubers, and is consumed by many people across Africa. However, a lot of people, especially the middle class find it difficult to prepare pounded yam the traditional way which involves boiling yam, pounding it in a mortar using a piston, until it becomes a succulent dough.

The growth of the middle class in Africa in general, and Nigeria to be specific, has led to a need for hygienically processed, easy to prepare and well packaged food products like yam flour.

You can read more about these businesses via the links below:

Someone already suggested charcoal business to me which I decline because of the terrible experince I had in the business.

The problems you will encounter when trying to export charcoal are just too many, if it;s not the difficulty of getting a container from Oyo or Kwara, it's the problem you will encounter when the truck gets to the port.

All of this involves additional additional expenses which impacts negatively on budgeted profit.

After export you now have to deal with your partner in Europe or Asia who will complain of too much moisture content so as to ask for additional discount and on top of that will still not remit your money on time as agreed!

I will only consider this business if you are ready for a 50-50 sharing of all costs and revenue but the customer must establish a confirmed Letter of Credit.

Same thing goes for the agro export . No Confirmed Letter of Credit no deal
You're a shrewd business man!
Please share your contact, I want to learn from you.
