Did the biometrics on the 4th of this month.
If you want it out ASAP, then you can pay for the priority service (info and cost on TLS website) and have your passport out in less than a week.

Good morning expect in the forum,
I just want to be sure of this section on the UK visa application
They said the total amount of money you make in a year. I believe this answer is my paid salary from my employer in addition with the money I make from another income

The total amount you make in a yearHello Experts,

So I wanted to find our my chances.

I am a Cloud/Infrastructure Architect with over 8 years of work experience. I am currently looking for a job in the UK under the Tier 2 Visa Skilled shortage list. I have seen tons of jobs. I see the new Immigration law takes effect from Jan 1 2021, for skilled workers outside the EEA. What are my chances of landing a good job. I am based in Lagos Nigeria. Also would it be possible if I visit the UK next year, see if I get a sponsor in the UK and come back to Nigeria to apply for a Tier 2 visa? Please I would like someone who is experienced for guidance.

Thank you.

You don’t need to come over to find sponsors, lol. Finding sponsors is not something you do by walking the streets of UK. Just apply for the jobs that fit your spec, indicate that all conversations must be via Skype (provide your Skype ID) or emails. Fine tune your CV to uk standard (they don’t care about your state of origin and age), then wait for recruiters to be interested in you and schedule interviews with you.

Your field is really good and you have a great amount of experience so I’m sure something positive will happen within 6 months of search. Regardless, you should be weary of the fact that your competition will be guys from Asia who are gods at IT, however, your strong point will be that you speak English better than them (leverage your English speaking capability).

You should only come to the UK if they ask your for a physical interview, but try your best to insist on remote interviews unless you have plenty money to spend.

The total amount of money you make from all sources of your income in a year excluding your tax and pension deduction. Calculate the amount you make from your net salary and multiply by 12, you will get what you make in a year. Then is you have additional job calculate your net and multiply by 12 and add it to the first to get the total for the two jobs yearly

Hello NL, My family and I plan to travel to Uk this December and we are first time travelers outside Nigeria. My husband filled his application and paid $130 that’s N50,500. I would like to know how he can apply for the rest of us. Me, my three kids. Are we supposed to fill differently or what? And also as first timers can we pay for priority?

All of you would fill separate forms.
Each person will pay $130.
Yes u are allowed to pay for priority, however note that If u decide to pay for priority, it is a separate payment as u must first pay the $130 each per applicant.
Also priority fee is also paid per application that is if the 5 applicants from ur family want priority application you must pay the fees times 5 apps.

Thanks Giselle. Is my husband meant to use his emails to apply for the kids and I or we need separate emails? Because I tried filling the application using my email, when I got to the payment part I used his atm card but it kept saying payment not accepted.

Pls use separate emails for everyone cause you will need to book separate appointment times at the end of each person’s process. Each individual will have their own application, email etc for ease

Good Morning everyone, I and My family plan to travel to Uk this December. My only concerns is that my daughter is just a year plus 8 month old but a friend of mine told me that i need to proof that she is in school (Creche). I tried to register her into a Creche but they told us to wait till December due to the pandemic.

Should we go ahead and apply without Creche?

I earn 499,500 monthly and spent 75k monthly
Wife 250,000 monthly and spent 25k

Any advice please?

By any standards, a 1yr 8mths old child is not up to school age! So that evidence does not add any significant value to your application Sir. Please go ahead and apply but ensure you attach her birth certificate to show fillial relationship.

True. Someone got a refusal mail 26 days after the application was refused so your best bet is to wait to pick up your passport to check for the vignette.

Well-done , guru in the house, just checking Google and got my self on this wonderful thread , I have read and really understand the procedure but pls I need someone to assist in evaluating this. My salary is 350k, my monthly expenses is btw 80-100k , so I think my disposable income should be around 250k, and I'm planning to spend 450k(flight-337k + hostel-64k + miscellaneous-49k) on a 8 days tourist visit to UK. Pls , is this calculation ok?? If not, pls how do I suppose to plan it? Thanks, I will be glad to from you, great people.

Add another 49k with the miscellaneous and use that as feeding, £20 X 8days = £160 at the rate of £1=₦502. That's is ₦80000. ✌️

I appreciate your quick response but according to what I read here , it was stated ones travel expenses should be within 2x of disposable income and my 2x disposable income is appr 500k, if I add 80k, that will be 530k, please explain better pls!! thanks for your valuable response

Do you have other source of income? Are you self employed?? Sorry for asking these questions I'm just trying to see where u fit in plus it's not a crime if you spend a lil bit over your 2times salary, the Eco just wants to see you are really employed, removed the miscellaneous and use that money for feeding cos it's not included in your budget already or else you will be staying with someone in UK else.... ✌️
