Una well done o!

Let me rephrase my question.

How long does it take for biometrics to change from " your action is required"

Don't scroll and pass o, answer my question bikonu.

On a normal condition it can take an average of 24hrs to weeks. If you continue seeing this update on your application, its advisable you raise a CSE to IRCC webform and your application status will change to submitted.

Thank you for the reply.
I searched for my school but it's not there. Also I called UBC to tell them about the difficulty I'm having but they insisted the only way international students outside Canada can pay is through western union.

The only information western union gave me was a reference number but my bank is saying I don't have enough information from the school to attach to Form A.

Please hlep. Has anyone paid UBC tuition fee here?

Please, how did you pay your tuition? I need to pay for on-campus residence.

Hello Everyone,

I recently joined, and i had yo read from thread 1 (i am so happy and inspired). God bless each and everyone putting out useful information here.

To all Hopefuls here, i pray divine favor locates each and everyone of us.

Now my question, I studied Agricultural science and Education, from Ekiti state University, Ado-Ekiti(affiliated to Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education), and i want to apply for something Agric related, (initially, i wanted to transition into HR career, but having learnt and read a lot about Visa Applications, i decided to stick to my Agric background)

Please, i need a few school suggestions, and Agric related courses, e.g Food safety, etc ... (Schools that have funding too )

Thank you so much.

PS: I know i still have to do a lot of research myself, but i need views from different person(s) here. (Agriculture friendly related province, etc)
Hi,

First of all, I don't know if a Graduate I'm a Program with EDUCATION is qualified/eligible to apply for M.SC., probably the house could help on that

While u await a response iny that, what did you graduate with ?

If you have a 2.1 , then you are to go for a Masters in an Agricultural program or related program

- If it's a 2.2 , you are to go for a PG. Cert (Post Graduate Certificate) in an Agricultural Program or related

So if you can answer that question, the house might be able to suggest schools for u in Agricultural/food science Related field

And mind you, there is a Possibility of you seeing Agricultural Programs in Non-Agricultural Province

Secondly, in my application I said my two kids would be following me but I am yet to apply for them because I had to apply for their passports newly(they are few months old), hope this won't have effect on my application.

Thanks in advance

Why will you state that your two kids will be accompanying you to Canada but you didn't include them in your application? You ought to have waited for their passports to be ready prior to submitting your application. More over, the visa officer will question your intent to study given that your two kids are few months old and more especially how you intend to cope with them while pursing your studies in Canada.

It will end in praise.

Are you sure about this? @.JustMellow..... I don't believe IELTS General qualifies for the Nigeria Student Express Program (NSE). In view that this is a study permit application and not a permanent resident application, an IELTS Academic module would be the best fit here.

This is not as hard as imagined
Whenever you are in difficulty try Tracing the issue from the root.
The body requesting for IELTS in this case is an immigration body not an academic body.

Immigration gives Visas not admissions so y the concern on IELTS academic over general when no specifics is being mentioned in the mail? If good judgement and inferences cannot be made from the mail, I am afraid that academics may be difficult to pass undecided

This confusion stems from the poor attitude and lack of direction of the Nigeria society, a classic example is the full acceptance of whatever date of birth is written on your waec result over what you have been issued by NPC. Nigeria companies for some Unexplainable reasons believe waec is more accurate to tell your birth date even when waec is only a purely examination board and have nothing to do with population commissioning.

Another example is the nullification of your tertiary education for sake of no NYSC Certificate or exemption irrespective of the fact that NYSC is not a degree/higher diploma awarding body.

You can see that the confusion is a resultant of a bastardise mindset from a dysfunctional society.

More importantly what I have noticed is that no one has been bold to ask the embassy a direct question on this for clarification sake. Could this be interpreted as dear or being timid ? Another Nigerian thing

For those who will be going to canada please dont come back...

Hi Frankrobbn1

What's the probability of a spouse being given work permit when the other one is applying for a canadian student permit? From your experience, how sure is it?

The possibility of a spouse getting a SOWP along side the other applying for a study visa is great provided that both couples can demonstrate to the immigration authorities of Canada that they are well established with adequate financial resources and significant ties to motivate their departure after the spouse studies in Canada. I can barely count how many applications I know that got approvals with same profile. You need to do your basic work in the application by covering every loopholes and present a solid application to be reviewed by the VO.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You are absolutely correct the whole process was meant to strengthen our patience "muscle". If I did not learn any other thing from the process, I am learning patience and how to be proactive. I can't believe I could wait from April 9 till this time smiley smiley For those waiting for their PPR, please be encouraged as the process will end in praises.

That's what mine shows too, although the date is showing 16th on mine. The passport is with the embassy now and they'll give us feedback by next week, hopefully.

This entire Canadian visa process was created to teach us patience.

How did he submit it?
Did he pay for sms for one or both passports?
Did he pay for package transmission for one or both passports.
I dont think submitting them together as one, as per payment is accepted.
(my thoughts anyway)
He can call them by phone or send an email or chat them up.
