I will vote against him and I am sure others will do the same thing.

You seem not to understand the game, give him the power and he will use just 4 years because he can't use two terms and the power will then go back to them, that is the shortest route for thn to get their power back.

Isn't it sad how everyone is quiet watching these vagabonds in power planning to recycle themselves. After the deed is done and too late, people will start shouting. The only good thing going for GEJ so far is conceding a lost election. The monumental corruption under his tenure pales in comparison only to the looting under Buhari. And the masses stand aloof.

Assassinate Jonathan? That will surely be the end of revenue from the Niger Delta. No tribe is lord over any. Unity isn't a must.

Jonathan has shown absolutely no interest in Biafra whatsoever, I don't know where you guys come up with these childish fantasies.

Second if somehow he declares such the National Assembly will move to impeach him immediately for "gross misconduct".

If he decided to rule by decree he will either be assassinated by political opponents or military commanders pursuing their own interests and Nigeria is back to 1963 again.

You should have told Azikiwe that unity isn't a must when he opposed a regional secession clause.

Northerners are only concerned with power and nothing else! Not even reasoning in the right direction on how to alleviate millions of almajiris that are a ticking time bomb off the streets!

Shame on the north. Stupid and greedy leaders with no moral compass on their actions of impunity and colossal corruption to rob the region of common standard of living.

Nigeria owe the North one more term. Let the North complete their term.
South had Obj for 8 yrs, then GEJ 6 years. That is 14 years. North would only have done 10 years, Buhari 8 and Yardua 2. Let equity rein.
GEJ all the way!

And he MUST reciprocate all that BUHARI did to the south.

That's where you people get it wrong, NO MATTER WHERE THE PRESIDENT IS FROM, HE WILL DO MORE FOR THE NORTH THAN THE SOUTH because EVERY STATISTICS PUT THE NORTH BEHIND THE SOUTH,so any president will concentrate more on areas lacking . The north is
- Most populous (so needs more amenities)
- Largest land mass ( so needs more infrastructure and roads)
- highest poverty (that's why the bulk of covid palliative went up north and y'all were complaining when all data says poverty highest up north)
- highest level of illiteracy and

The only area the beat Southerners is
- north has a very large army of regular voters , the votes of the North usually determine who become president

And to crown it all the grip of the northern Oligarchy on nigerian politics will only mean any president will do more for the north

I said probably on Biafra not a must he does act on it. However, he would surely be implementing 2014 CONFAB report. Azikwe opposing secession clause was borne out of short sightedness. The wrongs, ills can and will be corrected. It's only a matter of time.

Are you Normal?

Whose name is on the presidential ticket that GEJ completed in his first two years?

FYI, both region have done 12 years each.

Well, if Jonathan tries it, with the recent developments in the country and again, considering the fact that they claimed he ran on S.E's slot and now people have realized the game, he may lose the election.

A new face(i.e not an ex-president) will contest for that position in 2023.

Know it that Nigeria and particularly the South owe the North one more term. Let the North complete their term by taking power in 2027 and keep it for 8 years for equity sake!

They are all looking for the normal lukewarm character to handover to, hoping he will not rock the boat for 4 years since he can't go for a second term! They will then swoop back to power just to continue from where they stopped. In their minds, we all must be fools.. but Is that Jonathan that daft? Is he so unconcerned with his immediate environment that after seeing all that Buhari has done, he is willing to allow himself to be used by the same people to achieve the same results? What kind of wack patriotism is that?
