We need to pray for them and this country.

Prayer kee you there!

I don't know when the black Africans will have sense

What have prayers done for you in the past 6 decades?

You cannot pour sharp sand into your soup and turn around to pray to God to remove the sand.

Maybe you need to know that your leaders have shares in some of those refineries in countries they purchase PMS from that's why they are not interested in fixing the refineries here.

The useless NNPC that is supposed to manage Nigeria's upstream and downstream oil sectors is busy building hospitals even though it doesn't have any refineries that produce to optimal capacity.

Nigerian leaders are not corrupt; they just don't have sense. But then, their followers are even more stupid.

The youths need to take this country back from these idiotic leaders by force.

EndSARS needs to have a sequel: #EndBadLeadership

The ultimate aim of importing fuel from Niger through the north is to reduce the dependence on Lagos as a landing berth for petroleum products, the alliance with the south west is gradually coming to an end, 2023 politics at play.

You are very smart indeed

They want to reduce the economic power of Lagos and shift it to the north

Good questions that should force critical reasoning.

If we are already importing refined oil from outside Nigeria, then what could be the hullabaloo about importing from Niger?

I think the complain should be why we are importing refined oil , it is not the stupid pride or hate filled statements i see flying around.

Niger refines 20,000 barrels of oil and only needs 5,000 barrels. Nigeria needs about 400,000 barrels per day.

Nigeria doesn't need that much stop talking nonsense

With each price increase in pms daily sales has dropped over 80%

You guys are just used to talking without facts
Nonsense

The local refineries have been declared irredeemable. Dangote is about to take a lion share of the market also. It is becoming clearer to even the politically blind where Nigeria is being driven to. The south will soon wake up and see the country in the hands of private and northern hands. That time the story won't be of quota system but one of hardworking northerners who rose from scratch to dominate empty noise makers.

BIG SHAME
You blame the FG for the people's ignorance, Obasanjo sold the refinery, they were hailing mumu yaradua for reversing the sale because they want to enjoy cheap petroleum products? Let the national assembly pass an enactment & authorize it's sale immediately? Dangote will put an end to this refinery rubbish in a couple of years, be ready to pay the true amount for pms useless wailer, Dangote has already warned you.

importing from Niger is not the problem but why can’t Nigeria maintain their own refineries, if Niger can.

Subsidy that Endsars Protesters insist the Federal Government must continue to pay is the problem, who will build a refinery for $16 billion, then come and sell its produce to you for 170 Naira (less than half a dollar), la truth mass ignorance is what is killing Nigeria. Dangote & Rabiu, will put Total Niger out of business very soon

If the refineries were fixed we won't need to import. Look at how much had been spent as of 2017 and we can't even refine a single barrel.
Who knows how much they have spent as of 2020, using to TAM of the refineries to loot the nation dry.

The news we read and hear in Nigeria are mostly fluffs, duds, worthless and absolutely vacuous. We have too many attention seeking people all over our landscape from pastors leaving their pastoral duties to shout and peddle false prophecies and political rubbish to activist hustlers, jobless opposition and so on, they just open mouth to fill their airspace with needless and pointless rants.

We;ve been importing petrol for decades till the day before the news about importing petrol from Niger broke, these noise makers had no issue with Nigeria importing petrol from abroad, but all of a sudden they have issues with importing from across the border which is actually cheap and a better deal.

What is the difference? Is it because we are importing from a black African country instead from Oyinbo country?

Nigerians are so physically and mentally unruly and I honestly think many Nigerians need psychiatric evaluation.

What's there to explain? That there's a difference between importing petrol from Niger and other countries?

Is the keyword import regardless where we import from?

There is a 99% chance that refinery is owned by a Nigerian. You see all those investments to Niger republic; the roads, the railway lines... they needed it to facilitate the importation of the refined products.

Only people I feel sorry for are the idiots who still feel the President is competent.

You know yourself, always on Twitter barking at anyone who writes anything about the president

Hypocrite the refinery dangote is building in Lagos State you are amongst the people shouting favorism, you want to have your cake and eat it too? Complain about everything, Ipob Zombie? why will a Nigerian build a refinery in Republic du Niger, when the biggest market in Africa by a far stretch, is right here at home in The Federal Republic of Nigeria?

Mumu Wailer try & get a functioing brain, why pay import duties, on a commodity you can produce locally, & still get paid in dollars? It is simple economics, the ignorance of the vast majority of people like you is the problem.
