What has Buhari built now since he came into office? Is it not worse of the same? He has even plunged us into debt worse than we have ever imagined and achieved recession twice!! That's not to mention that the forex has practically crumbled under him and inflation is at never seen before levels. What about cronyism which has seen some millionaires emerged from nowhere and his clannishness in appointments and projects? At least OBJ built power plants what has your Buhari done apart from blaming and failing?

You are totally ignoring cost of producing and potential profits. That's why America for example imports aluminium for cheaper even though they produce it and use the cheap aluminium to fabricate useful products like aircraft that they then sell to other countries.

Saying government has no business in business is wrong as it is a way for them to generate revenue. Otherwise state owned enterprises wouldn't exist.

Oga we have more advanced and complicated structures than refineries in Nigeria and they are working perfectly. a case in point is the LNG, EGTL, etc. the problem with the refineries is that they keep making losses. who sustains a company that keeps making losses month in month out? you sell below market price with an overbloated staff that cannot be downsized due to unionism, favouritism and government policy of quota system and you expect government to keep sustaining the rot with scarce resources that can be use for infrastructures? as it is now the government cannot keep up with these inefficiencies just because of pride, no.
