What I read was that there is no directive yet from ICE regarding spring semester. So incoming international students should work with the guideline for fall 2020 which states that 100% of courses can not be online. That is, take at least one in-person/hybrid class - 3 credit hours of in-person class should be okay according to the guideline
nitdude:
Good evening my people. I want to ask this question for those whose study visa have been approved.

Did your University request you register for 6 hour in-person classes (6 credit) and a total of 9 credits for fresh I-20 holder else the person will not be allowed into the United states?

PLS let's confirm this and be sure b4 leaving. My IPO said it's the guideline from USICE

Hello guys, a quick one, I got my first interview, denied on the 20th of November and whenever I tried to apply for a new date, I still got the old DS-160. Should I register as a new user to get a new DS-160 or I can proceed with the existing one (I'd like to make some adjustments to the old DS-160?)

Not yet, because each time I try to continue to the payment of the visa, I always see the old DS-160 number.

in my opinion this is one of the first thing you sud consider doing after you have made up ur mind on the schools you wanna go. this is so because of the normal delay associated with getting your transcript from nigerian Universities.. ypu can do thia while you prepare for ur GRE or IELTS sef.
they are independent events

I'm not sure if the point you are making here but it is the school that will determine that. It depends on the deadline for international students, if it favours you, click submit. You can ask when they make decisions too. But really, it is all up to your school and your program

Hello everyone, Please is it advisable to send a mail to a professor and making enquiries.

I want to apply to the Ms Business Analytics in Columbia University but there isn't a direct person to ask questions, they only have a general department admissions email which I mailed and got an automatic reply stating I will get a feedback in 3working days.

Do you think I can mail an associate professor?

Because I have checked online and people only mail professors indicating that they want to join their research team, and I am not a PhD applicant but MSC.

Please help me with ideas, thank you

Thanks. But how do I fill a new DS-160 form?

You can put your old DS-160 form number on the page, it will ask you if you want to retrieve it, say yes.

Then you'd have a new one which would be filled partially, so you can go through it and answer the parts not filled out.

Or you can just start another form entirely, same way you started the old one.

Then you can get your new form number and update on your visa page

*FINDINGS:*

I found out that one should fee relax and be confident enough. Have it in mind that two things, one much happen today because you have come and no going back, it will help you relax your mind. Dress like a student you are.

Lastly, pray fervently because God never changes. Even as I entered there, I said to myself self , US embassy, here I come and I will never go out with my an approved visa and I said 3 hail Mary prayer. Even as the VO was typing endlessly, I continued to say "Hail Mary in my heart".

I pray that those having their interview ahead will got approval message.

Congrats man
I'm also going for Nursing, a second bachelors.

My interview date is January 8th

I'll send you a dm

okkk thanks man i also need yhis info.. but the thing now is on my visa appointment, my DS160 comfirmation number and barcode is there... will I be able to print out anoda visa appointment letter with the new Ds160 confirmation number without loosing the appointment?

solihp:

You can put your old DS-160 form number on the page, it will ask you if you want to retrieve it, say yes.

Then you'd have a new one which would be filled partially, so you can go through it and answer the parts not filled out.

Or you can just start another form entirely, same way you started the old one.

Then you can get your new form number and update on your visa page

Ngoven, please can you share with us the specification or quality of the DS160 confirmation page you later printed at the embassy and the passport photograph expected to come with as this will help save 4K at the embassy. Thanks in awaiting your response.

The DS 160 confirmation that was sent to your email, normally, if you print it out directly from your email, it will be up 3 pages. But look carefully on it, you will see a place for "print" , click on it and everything will now appears to be on one page both the barcode and every of your details.

Secondly, on the issue of passport, the size is 5x5 , it's a bit larger than the normal 2x2 passport photograph. You can google the image of 5x5 passport.

Thanks.
