Hello bro. How much does Ethiopia Airline charges from Nigeria to US. How much did you book?

Or do you know of any cheaper airline to fly with?

It depends on where you are going in the US?
Check wakanow.ng that's what I used, you can explore various options.

Hey guys,
I booked an emergency visa appointment after getting my visa appointment in April but was denied the appointment. I plan to book again for another one but I want to know if I have to pay another mrv fee. I am to resume classes in spring 2021. Thank you.

Hey guys.

I cried all night and still crying after being denied yesterday.

I totally tended up and blanked out.

Last night all my responses kept flowing in my head and sounded like I was muttering gibberish.

I feel so hopeless.

It was like someone else possessed my body as all I heard rehearsed flew out of my head.

I sent an email to my program director and her response brought more tears to my eyes.

She said she will keep the admission open all through next year, hoping I can join them.

I am afraid to book another date and go through another heartbreak.

I am hiding in my office toilet as I type still crying.

I feel so sad
The ability to post this means there's some strength in you. I can understand your disappointment cos I've been there before. Do not to give up at this time. Prepare for your next interview exhaustively and above all, drop it at God's feet (that's the only assurance).

People are not dropping transcripts again!

Hope all is well?

Please, keep sending the good news to motivate us that our interviews are coming up soon.

Refusal for visa happens more regularly than you know ...so dont feel to sad. That life, in some areas you get more No than Yes, be it admission, job, visa , even relationships etc

Yes it is disappointing no doubt but if you become so sad , it can indirectly be reflected in your next interview ... so please remember that. No more crying, keep preparing and remain hopeful and make sure nothing affects your confidence and ability to sell yourself in your next interview.

All the best

Hello everyone, I wonder if my question can be answered by anyone here;

Would a bank statement of account that is neither signed nor stamped be accepted by the VO?
It is an American bank and the same statement of account was accepted by the school for processing my I-20.

Good morning house, If one's visa appointment date might be a public holiday, will it be rescheduled or do embassy work on such days?

It'll be rescheduled. The embassy doesn't work on Nigerian and US public holidays

Guys in the house, please help me as i need help and advise here. I tried to get emergency appointment in Lagos but was denied a new date came on the calendar as April 8th 2021 which i picked. My Original date is April 9th. After picking 8th April o noticed i cancelled the 9th and have a new appointment date.

Now I'm thinking of filling a fresh DS-160 for Abuja to see if i can get a closer date. Will i have to pay a new Visa fee for abuja or i can still make use of the one I'm on? Please remember that i went ahead to pick 8th April. Thinking i would have emergency option if i pick 8th of april. Please also see attached

Hello Guys

My emergency appointment request was granted (previously refused visa in Lagos on 6th November), I applied on 25th and got a mail about an hour ago saying it’s limited to those that has not been refused within 6 months. I got another mail saying it has been approved and then another mail saying it has been refused. I then login to my account to reschedule and I was able to schedule for December 4. This is Abuja, I just received a confirmation mail (I hope they don’t turn me back at the gate).

So for guys like me, you can try. My program start date is 19th January. I hope I get favored this time.

After my denial. I applied for expedite last week Saturday and was denied on monday. Reason stated was that I was denied within the last 6 months.

It wasn’t an email exchange, I booked an appointment for March 2021 and the requested emergency. I stated my program start date and mentioned that I made a commitment to the school to resume in spring, and I also made mention of the required orientation event that will hold 2 weeks to program start date. I attached i-20 and sevis receipt.

I think 5x5 is just 2x2 but measured in cm. Just my thought.

Ngoven:

The DS 160 confirmation that was sent to your email, normally, if you print it out directly from your email, it will be up 3 pages. But look carefully on it, you will see a place for "print" , click on it and everything will now appears to be on one page both the barcode and every of your details.

Secondly, on the issue of passport, the size is 5x5 , it's a bit larger than the normal 2x2 passport photograph. You can google the image of 5x5 passport.

Thanks.
