Nanono is a good example of illiterates in power.

No country has ever survived by practicing autarky, China practiced it, hunger nearly killed them.

The hunger that will deal with Nigerians is waiting for them.
nothing like that bro, farmers are being recognized/remembered in this administration.

But borders in the north are not closed.

Just last week a report was released on how onions was being purchased from Niger republic.

These people and wayo.

The only people suitable to really maintain Nigeria's close borders it's the SE as we have no international borders.

Give it to someond from SW they will close others and leave SW borders open, same with SS, NW, NC and NE.

China sacrificed under Chairman Mao (Mao Zedong), now they are reaping the sacrifice, no Nigerian generation wants to sacrifice, they just want to enjoy, you don’t plant anything but you want to eat cheap rice, you didn’t build any power transmission stations & lines, but you want to have electricity? even the price of ordinary garri will triple despite all the cassava we have in Nigeria, they will be quick to blame the president.
have you ever been to the farm? you are not seeing the flooding all over the country, costing farmers billions every year? what is the government doing to control flood?

Please don't air this opinion in China. Stop listening to Western media and historians

There's no misinformation in what he said. Tell communist party in China to close their border and see if the world's largest population will not implode in a month.

China is not totally self sufficient. It only ensures its trade balance is tilted in its favour.I doubt if China can take the Mao approach again.
China presently operate and economy that's more capitalist than the American economy. This is contrary to what we are made to believe in conventional social media.

The level and pace of adaption of technology in China is way higher than the west, especially America. What it lacks is the freedom to air your speech.
China is not comfortable with enormous influence that the west wields in mainstream media.

Chairman Mao was an absolute failure. He killed nearly 30 million people just to return the Chinese to the farms. China's success began by diverging from Mao's failed policies. His successor was replaced because he is seen as another crazy airbag. The father of the Chinese economic miracle is Deng Xiaoping and not the murderous Mao.

Nigeria needs sacrifice but not to try out failed economic policies. Even today, China cannot feed itself and that is not a bad thing.

Very good write up, he just spill out thrash to justify his myopic view. Moa was a disaster because millions upon millions died...

Even the Chinese imports farm products from USA, making USA their biggest trade partner followed by Australia.

The only thing they know is to unleash hardship on the citizens. Backwards bunch of oldies. None of them knows how to use an ordinary computer talk more of blending the nation with modern happenings. Take a close look at the screen in that office...it's only used as a CCTV screen. In as much as there is nothing wrong with wanting a self reliant country, it shouldn't be at the peril of your citizens. Put a benchmark on the bike of importation while encouraging the local producers until we attain our self sufficiency. What we have is not sustainable. The price of commodities in the country does not equate the buying power of the people. Anyways, this govt...we asked for it, we got it.

They lost millions of lives to hunger and failed woefully until they opened up genuinely.
If you're ready to sacrifice your immediate family to starvation to achieve food sufficiency, then great.

You are wrong.

China only open their borders to the world when they were able to feed themselves first. A country that want to be great must be ready to pay the price.

" you do not want to die but you want to go to heaven".

Young man, there is always a price for success. Think about it.

-The Chinese Great Leap under Mao resulted in tens of millions of deaths and estimates range between 18 million and 45 million deaths - making the Great Chinese Famine the largest in human history.

-Mr. China Photocopier, how many millions of Nigerians are you happy to sacrifice, hopefully including all members of your family?

Got his history wires crossed. Thought he could just come here and fly some alien story and everyone will be lapping it up. Thought when he mentioned China, every bit of their history is text book stuff for study and positive learning.

Just like saying under Stalin or Hitler Russia and Germany became superpowers and advanced tremendously in industrial development. Yes, they did, most certainly but at what cost, at what loss of every other aspect of life and living. And are those what you can call success stories worthy of emulating.

No matter how high a success story is or how deep a failed narrative has become there are always bit parts to study and follow after and parts to discard and forget in a hurry. That is where the intelligent minds of competent leaders come into play.

It surprises me some people will still come here to praise the APC led Govt. To boost Agric meanwhile there is no working policy and incentive to encourage Farmers. Indeed hunger is coming if this nation do not learn from what you said.

-One of the basic problems Nigerians have is half-bake education - a very dangerous thing.
