China sacrificed under Chairman Mao (Mao Zedong), now they are reaping the sacrifice, no Nigerian generation wants to sacrifice, they just want to enjoy, you don’t plant anything but you want to eat cheap rice, you didn’t build any power transmission stations & lines, but you want to have electricity? even the price of ordinary garri will triple despite all the cassava we have in Nigeria, they will be quick to blame the president.
Was chairman Mao corrupt? He shot corrupt officials, when are we going to do same.
Nigerians planted rice and got beheaded while harvesting the rice. Not to mention the flooding that occurred this year.
Maybe you should tell your friends in govt to make sacrifices first and be alive to their duties before shifting the blame to longsuffering Nigerians.

You can lock up the Northern borders and throw the key anywhere you like.

Your Niger and Mali borders are opened to your kit and kin ours too should be opened because we have families too in Benin, Togo, Ghana and ivory coast.

Northern people should not put us into slavery.

Mumu must I say everything, & mind you Industrialized Nations dont build refineries, that is the purview of the private sector, only 3rd world banana Republics build refineries not everyone wants Nigeria to be a third world nation forever, so Government has no business building refineries.
Example of third world banana republic Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Netherlands, even China.

Please check what the word sacrifice means, millions of Chinese sacrificed their lives for the future of China, they have real heroes, not hypocrites that benefit themselves.
A leader deliberately starved his citizens to death. Ignorant people say they sacrificed.
I'm sure you'll explode in holy anger if a native doctor was to demand to sacrifice ten thousand lives to make Nigeria better.
Revisionists like you will call Holocaust a sacrifice one of these days

And is it only the citizens that should sacrifice? Can't the kleptocrats stop stealing and reduce their salaries too?

What year was that? Today’s China can produce all its agricultural (food) needs. Trade wise it’s bad to shut your borders but when your local agriculture is suffering due to over reliance on imported produce, shutting your porous land borders is the way to go.

If the porous borders are closed, why can't they sleep peacefully in the north because of bandits?
Re: ‘Nigeria Borders Will Remain Closed’ - Mohammed Sabo Nanono, Agric Minister by nogragra: 10:25am On Nov 29, 2020
This border closure is a northern agenda to empower their farmer while they destroy southern agriculture. My people must jasi and wake up, attack the border posts and take out hausa fulani customs and replace them with trained custom and immigration arm of amotekun. Yorubas must begin to take their destiny in their hands. They must stop being afraid, mi o le wa ku ki nje ogun ile baba re. Let the Bible teach you how to do this, Read deuteronomy 7:1-2, 2 chronicles 20:4-6, 10-12, 17,18-20.

nothing like that bro, farmers are being recognized/remembered in this administration.

You are an illiterate and a liar.

Tell me anywhere in Nigeria where farmers farm peacefully in Nigeria since 2017.

Just yesterday, some farmers were killed in Borno.

Killing farmers is a recurrence decimal in Benue.

Raping farmers is frequent in Enugu, Ondo, Ekiti, is that how farmers are remembered

Although, some people may suffer, but that singular act is what made China a great country now. To be great in life, you must be ready to pay the price.

Are you saying Nigerians should die the same way Chinese died in 1958 - 1962?

Mumu UN?

China will refuse to give up the “special and differential treatment” it enjoys as a developing nation at the World Trade Organisation, in a rebuke to a US proposal that would pare back the privileges China and other nations enjoy on trade. China is categorised as a developing country at the Geneva-based institution, which affords it “special and differential treatment”.

This enables China to provide subsidies in agriculture and set higher barriers to market entry than more developed economies. The dispute reflects a fundamental divide within the WTO that has threatened the future of the global multilateral trading system. The United States has long complained that too many WTO members – about two-thirds – define themselves as developing countries to take advantage of the terms the status permits them to trade under.

However countries such as China and India insist that the preferential treatment is an important cornerstone of the global trading system. Despite being the world’s second-largest economy and its biggest exporter, Beijing continues to label itself as “the world’s largest developing country.

You don't know the difference between UN and WTO?

NNE majority of people are hungry ooooo. As in three quarters. That is a dangerous situation. Just because a policy favours us or doesn't affect us does not make it right/correct. . These people are just starving the south and allowing the northern farmers to cash out.

I did not say anyone should sacrifice anything, you can’t give what you don’t have, No Nigerian is ready to sacrifice for another, am I my Brothers keeper? Hell No, all I made is an analogy that China paid a price for where they are today, we see the benefits, we don’t see the peasants dying in their millions in the fields.

China sacrificed under Chairman Mao (Mao Zedong), now they are reaping the sacrifice, no Nigerian generation wants to sacrifice, they just want to enjoy, you don’t plant anything but you want to eat cheap rice

You can see you're confused now. Simple because you were asked to be the first to practice what you preach!! You see your life?

If you're ready to sacrifice your immediate family to starvation to achieve food sufficiency, then great.

Whose fault, when they were born 70% of Nigerians were living in poverty then also, as much as things change, they seem to remain the same, if you are poor, blame yourself, or apply for an almijiri program, poverty in the United States is as bad as Nigeria, yet the moon is their backyard, at least people have been protesting for NASA to cut down on their space program. You wanted democrazy? You have what you asked for.
You really need to keep quiet. You're just typing rubbish up and down vigorously. The poverty rate in the US is 10% while that of Nigeria is 40%. That's besides the fact that the World Bank reports that over 100million Nigerians live in extreme poverty which is over 50% of our population. You need to shut up. You're being ignorantly and annoyingly belligerent on the topic.

What nonsense!! Have the army refused to take their salaries because people cursed them? What manner of foolishness is this? What is the nexus between people cursing them (who i'm sure are in the minority) and they doing their constitutional duties?
People have been insulting NEPA since the 90s. Is that why our electricity is bad now? You're just an halfwit that's it angry angry
