But borders in the north are not closed. Just last week a report was released on how onions was being purchased from Niger republic. These people and wayo. The only people suitable to really maintain Nigeria's close borders it's the SE as we have no international borders. Give it to someond from SW they will close others and leave SW borders open, same with SS, NW, NC and NE. |

Okoroawusa: There's no misinformation in what he said. Tell communist party in China to close their border and see if the world's largest population will not implode in a month. China is not totally self sufficient. It only ensures its trade balance is tilted in its favour.I doubt if China can take the Mao approach again. China presently operate and economy that's more capitalist than the American economy. This is contrary to what we are made to believe in conventional social media. The level and pace of adaption of technology in China is way higher than the west, especially America. What it lacks is the freedom to air your speech. China is not comfortable with enormous influence that the west wields in mainstream media. 2 Likes |

Xisnin: Very good write up, he just spill out thrash to justify his myopic view. Moa was a disaster because millions upon millions died... Even the Chinese imports farm products from USA, making USA their biggest trade partner followed by Australia. 2 Likes |

The only thing they know is to unleash hardship on the citizens. Backwards bunch of oldies. None of them knows how to use an ordinary computer talk more of blending the nation with modern happenings. Take a close look at the screen in that office...it's only used as a CCTV screen. In as much as there is nothing wrong with wanting a self reliant country, it shouldn't be at the peril of your citizens. Put a benchmark on the bike of importation while encouraging the local producers until we attain our self sufficiency. What we have is not sustainable. The price of commodities in the country does not equate the buying power of the people. Anyways, this govt...we asked for it, we got it. 2 Likes |

samsard: You are wrong. China only open their borders to the world when they were able to feed themselves first. A country that want to be great must be ready to pay the price. " you do not want to die but you want to go to heaven". Young man, there is always a price for success. Think about it. |

PDJT: Got his history wires crossed. Thought he could just come here and fly some alien story and everyone will be lapping it up. Thought when he mentioned China, every bit of their history is text book stuff for study and positive learning. Just like saying under Stalin or Hitler Russia and Germany became superpowers and advanced tremendously in industrial development. Yes, they did, most certainly but at what cost, at what loss of every other aspect of life and living. And are those what you can call success stories worthy of emulating. No matter how high a success story is or how deep a failed narrative has become there are always bit parts to study and follow after and parts to discard and forget in a hurry. That is where the intelligent minds of competent leaders come into play. 2 Likes |
