Bolt is ready to cash out during this period. Esp the last 3 weeks of the year.

The wisdom here is to pace your efforts towards the time the surge starts during the day.

When I saw this I felt sorry for the car and the partner.
Didn't he attend the training? Or is he one of those that purchase tokumbo bolt account.

What would be your reaction towards this?

You mentioned last week, you couldn't go online. I wanted to know how you resolved that.

Firstly, don't go to court on the matter if You truly took the one way, and if den don charge U to court, font plead guilty, let d car be dere till case is adjourned and find someone dat can help out.

Reason is if U pleaded guilty, dat car might be gone or ur wahala go tripple.

Lagos rule against one way Is car forfeiture

So Felicity0001 took one way and is looking for OBA of Benin to come get his car out.

Any driver that takes one way should be severely punish. Not just forfeiting of the car, he should serve the 6months jail sentence as you are coming out of jail, owner will be suing you for lost of property.

Obey Lagos law.

I'm giving you the break down in extra cost of fuel. So drivers will stop making noise as if they're the only one Buhari regime affect.

From the owner side, spare parts are super expensive, and you can't be in this business without maintenance.

The last time i bought Ac compressor is 22k (tokunbo), but now is sold for 30k, everything has skyrocketed, infact most owner's won't be able to recoup in this business, talkless of reinvesting.

The reality price for weekly rental should be 35k, anything less than that owners are running at lost.

Very true or it dosen’t make sense yes #35k

Hey Guys.

Some experience with cash (transfer) trips.

Rider said she transferred #1,200, I did not see alert. By the next day, I reported to Uber. Afterwards, the alert entered, however, Uber is asking her to still pay #1,200 before she can request a trip (perhaps they are yet to adjust the fare). Note that I updated Uber that the alert has been seen, she is saying what I did is not fair that I should have been patient for the alert.

The same patience that has cost me #4,900 (I am giving this another rider 2 weeks before I release her number for embarrassment). She should also be patient for Uber to reverse the payment.

Uber however is being diplomatic. I asked them directly what a driver should do if a rider requests for transfer payment, their response

"Driver-partners are responsible for collecting the full fare for a cash trip immediately on arrival at the rider’s destination.

Moreover, we highly value your feedback and we take what you're saying very seriously. As a growing company, we are constantly seeking ways to better enhance the Uber experience from both driver-partners and riders perspectives.

We appreciate your understanding in this regard."

I increase my rent last week to 35k.

Spare parts are too expensive, everything has skyrocketed.

I did my research by calling car owners in uberfleet match, i notice most of them has actually increase their rent. Some are coming up with even more tougher conditions.

BUHARI HAS REALLY DESTROY THIS COUNTRY.

MY INCREASE WILL BE FOR THIS DECEMBER TO 2ND WEEK OF JANUARY.

That's if you and i leave our Bolt/Uber account offline to go online on Indriver. I never go online on my Indriver account for a while and I'm not planning to use Indriver anytime soon unless i exhauste my destination features before I ready go house for the day.

They will survive, managing 13 people and getting results, means something is right somewhere.

It is your business and your rules, if it works well for you then who I be to question your method

IMO. Paying 35k weekly remittance shouldn't be an issue now. But any Owner partner that increases rental now that the business is booming for drivers should reduce it during January (Winter).

I just have to go back and check my net yesterday, tot it was 15500, only to realize it is 17200 and I still have a clear chance of making 2k, but exhausted and have to blow empty home. Now if u gross 21k on Bolt/Uber, do the maths, I no longer leave my bed unless I get a trip, I restrict driving to Berger, ogba, ikeja, yaba, surulere and island, any other road that's off those roads, forget me, I get home on time now and can make 10k with just 2 drive. What more am I looking for? I may switch to either of any, but right now I'm getting my vibes with Indriver. Inbtw, I'm yet to regard Bolt ever since they ask me to go for inspection so they can unblock my acct... me too don block them like dis grin nah do me I do u we deh like dis.

Loud it bro.
A friend of mine told me to port to bolt. I asked him how much has he made today on bolt? He said 20k Net ( surge and bonus inclusive). Meanwhile, I have made 15k on indriver as at that time 2pm with ease, already on my way home.
If bolt deducted commision from the N20k , are we not on the same figure? Meanwhile, my 15k comes with ease, few and selected trips, covers few distance. As against the fear of low rating from Uber/ bolt riders.
Till further notice, I'm still with indriver. Make Uber/bolt dey chop their surge

Surge without trip request coming in.

I waited over two hours in lekki on sunday night the few request that came in within that period were with 1.8, 1.9x..."rider cancelled" was what I got.

I finally left with Indriver.

Do what works for you, I'm still yet to complete any trip on indriver undecided (fastest finger and crazy pricing). I do see good trips but there are usually 5km+ away, do you go for them?
