These words are evidence of a backward, parochial mentality typical of bush village dwellers. A woman's greatest "laurel" is NOT her domineering husband, but her SUCCESS in life. Marriage exists purely for the purpose of providing offspring with requisite paperwork to establish lineage and nationality. Beyond that, there is no frigging point in a woman being tied to any man.

I am no fan of Ms. Linda Ikeji, and I am convinced that her wealth, about which she constantly boasts online, derives not from her obscure gossip website's meager earnings, but from the proceeds of public fund embezzlement that is kindly "donated" to Ms. Ikeji, by her secret sperm donors who happen to have access to public funds in Nigeria. Speaking of sperm donors, Ms. Ikeji is already a mother, who prefers to make her own way in life, without the burden of marriage hanging around her neck like a dead chicken.
