Hello friends!!

I just got my NSE request for only my IELTS result to be submitted within 13 days.

My challenge is : I wrote ielts few months ago and I made 7:0 in all except reading which I made 5:5. Overall band score is 7.0

I don’t know if this result can fly because I don’t think I am ready to write ielts again after two sittings.

Please advise me accordingly

Did you log in to your GC key account today? You may not get a “do not reply” email...please log in.

My daughter’s counterfoil just dropped; I didn’t get an email from IRCC but got a VFS Global notification that her decision Envelope has been dispatched from IRCC Abuja to VFS Abuja...So I logged in to her GC key account and saw the change to “Approved” and also her counterfoil..

Ikechuqu:

The depression is serious.

VFS is saying my passport is ready for collection, no updates on my IRCC for counterfoil or LOI. So I just confuse as I dey so

I think it’s your total band score that they are after.
Please was eligibility review started before you received this NSE request?? cos I am also a sept applicant and my eligibility review has started since, I am guessing that’s why I didn’t get an NSE request from IRCC.

Perhaps, workload redistribution. They moved some passports to IRCC Abuja two weeks ago

With COUNTERFOIL & LOI alrdy gotten, can one go ahead to pay the #12k for passport return
or
wait for VFS Lagos to send me an information that the passport has gotten back to them and instruct me to pay?

FYI : Haven't gotten the 4th Mail from VFS

Thanks

I think you are better off dealing with Abuja Vfs directly. I pray they don’t send it to VFS Lagos in any way...else Na wahala be that

I got my counterfoil this afternoon and a mail saying my passport is on its way to VFS Abuja. I submitted my passport on the 18th.

What can I do next please?

I am also wondering why Nairaland keep banning me anytime I post the message to VFS here?

Sequel to this,

The 3rd mail they sent to me on the 18th of Nov goes thus

My tracking ID has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Abuja OC

And it is in transit to the IRCC Office in Abuja OC for processing

Funny enough it was LAGOS V F S I submitted to

I submit mybankstatement ticket ID last month but my balance has improved and that was explained in my LOE that I was expecting some funds.

Should I upload a new mybankstatement ticket? Showing improved balance alongside my IELTS that was requested for NSE.
Please advise

It's Lagos VFS and it has been 30 days already for me. I submitted it on the 2nd, I got the mail saying it was ready for collection on the 23rd(9 days ago) which is when I made the payment for it. I'm still waiting sha

Dee4Doyinsola:
Hello I hope it's not Lagos VFS, If it is, you might need to exercise a little more patience. I hope your timeline will not take as long as mine (today makes it day 27 for me). And as for trying their number, I will advise you to keep trying till you get them. also, send mails to lagos.immigration@international.gc.ca imploring them to expedite action.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by ericksen(m): 3:48pm On Dec 02, 2020
Did anybody here send his/her passport to any VAC abroad?
cos with the way VFS is doing down here in 9ja, this might be the best thing to do now ooo.
What do you guys think?

Good morning guys,

Trust you are all doing great?

I want to clarify something

For someone who wants to start his/her Visa Application, Is this NSE compulsory ?

or

If the new applicant still wants to go via the regular channel that we all know of, can he/she still opt for that?

Thanks

If you want to be processed through NSE just add the required documents for NSE and your application will be processed through NSE, but if you don't add NSE documents your application will be processed through regular channel but most likely IRCC will ask that you add the additional documents that will qualify you for NSE especially if you are not likely to be approved through regular process
