Hello gurus here, I have an important question that just occurred...If doing a 2-year course or more, would they ask how you would finance your 2nd year since what is shown in your proof of funds is the balance of the course fees for the 1st year and the living cost for 9 months?

They don’t ask but if they do just tell them you are self funded and can get support from family members of needed

Thanks a lot...This question has been on my mind since they don't expect you to continue with your businesses as a student and only parents are allowed as official sponsors. What a relief

Please do the UK embassy accept NPC attestation for a birth certificate for the parent sponsor? Your urgent reply will be appreciated.

1. Parents bank statement if sponsored by your parents.

2. Sponsorship letter stating the cost and length of sponsorship and other required details. This has to be from the Nigerian government, UK government, international company or international organisation.

Government issued documents are generally accepted by UKVI but it's helpful to include a brief explanation in the additional information section / on a cover letter providing information on the circumstances on the non availability of your birth certificate.
This will prevent an erroneous refusal in a case where the caseworker is used to only seeing birth certificates.

Not sure about that. On the booking confirmation you're advised to show up 15 mins to your appointment, anytime earlier you may be denied entry.

The birth certificate wasn't issued to me after my birth when I requested for it I was asked to apply for NPC attestation that the government started issuing a birth certificate from Dec 1992 but I don't know how true is this

Even people born in the 70s and 80s in nigeria have government issued birth certificate . There no way it only started in 1992

I jst submitted my CAS shield for University of south Wales. I had 3 previous visa denial with I stated.
US.. 2016
Canada.. 2019 student
Canada.. 2020 student

I heard the sch will conduct an interview b4 CAS is issued. I wanted to ask, have anybody seen a case were CAS is denied. Like the school wont issue CAS.

Family members are limited to parents, spouse, children and siblings (brothers and sisters).

Prior to that, birth certificates were issued by the states through the local governments (and they still are), so there was no national record of births and deaths (for statistical, planning purposes) like what obtains in many other countries.

In theory anyone born in Nigeria after 1992 is supposed to have an NPC-issued birth certificate, but sometimes parents don't or can't get one.
