A relatively peaceful city in sub Saharan Africa. Even during the Nationwide looting a few weeks back. the relative calm in the city was really commendable.
Abuja is world class.

Apart from the wise roads, clean environment, less population and being a capital.

Abuja is no where near Lagos (Business wise).

Beautiful indeed.

Abuja enjoys one thing today, which Lagos was denied of; Proper urban planning.
( And relatively inexhaustive space.)

Plus it doesn't have the weight of being the commercial centre of the country like Lagos.

You can't talk about Abuja's proper planning without giving credits to Nasir El'Rufai. The man is about replicating the same in Kaduna. He has already made Kaduna the state with the highest IGR in the North and highest investment destination in Nigeria as at last year.

You can hate the man but you can't fault his administrative acumen.

A beautiful city surrounded by poverty, malnourishment, meningitis and terrorism is as good as nothing.
