Hi Mz Wendy. I am relatively new here too but i'll just go basic. You sure would be allowed to work as a student but your working hours will be limited though. Although the popular opinion is that having a 2.2 in your Bsc limits your visa chances and you might want to go for a PgD instead, I know someone on this group who went for Master with a 2.2 and even got scholarship. It depends on a plethora of factors
MzWendy:
Someone should help me please..... I am begging.... We all started from somewhere. Help a JJC please. I need answers to these questions PLEASE...... I’ll share my testimony someday and also be able to assist someone just like I’m pleading now. If there is a WhatsApp group, please can the link be provided PLEASE.....

God bless you. I really appreciate. Thank you.
Time2soar:

Since you have work experience in Human Resources Management you are okay to go for a course in HRM but with your GP it might be hard to get admission into master programs but not impossible, you might consider going for a pgd in human resources managements
You do not need IELTS for admission or visa processing but with the new Nigeria Student Express (NSE) processing started by IRCC you are better of writing IELTS and also sending one year bank statement through mybankstatement, it will make your application faster and improve your chances

Yes, you will be allowed to work part time up to 20 hours per week while studying

Yes there are school offering scholarship to non Canadian citizens but you will need good academic credentials because they are usually competitive

Yes they do if your reason is Covid or Study permit refusal. You can’t get a refund if your request is 10 official days after the start of classes.

Go to ielts.ng and register, choose yaba as center, it will give you MOD tower and you will have options of everyday, other centers have limited days.

And also how do I go about it. Please are there any threads for that with the prices. Thanks.

You can do your medicals at Qlife or IOM, I am sure someone will point out the thread for that for you. As for the police report, people sparingly do it..
Please wait for other gurus in the house for more briefing

The computer base test of MOD is practically available everyday of the week and the result comes out within 3 to 5 days, so you have not problem

But the only one I can see is paper based

Abuja is better but if I were you, I'd send to Accra or Niamey VFS. You can easily make payments via Ecobank. You won't spend more than N20,000 to send it and it'll be worth the investment for your own mental health. If sending it outside the country is impossible, then settle for Abuja but if you don't want to blame your village people, avoid Lagos VFS cheesy grin.

Abuja is a bit reliable than Lagos, if you didn’t do your biometrics there, you’ll pay the transmission fee on their website

sending to acrra via dhl is 27,500 and you also have to pay 378 cedes for transmission fee and return courier

ecobank nigeria won’t do it, they’ll tell you to go and use western union or moneygram

i ended up using a bureau de change in ghana to do it i paid 31k for 378 cedes for something that was meant to be 26k

The whole accra thing is a lot
They’re organized yes, but my passport isn’t back to me and i haven’t even gotten counterfoil or loi yet , It got to accra last wednesday, got tracking number on monday
