A friend of mine having payment issue.
Her dad paid via First Bank some weeks back and he was called today that they cannot process the payment because there is increase in the exchange rate.

Please guys which bank can one make payment without waiting for weeks before payment is done to the UK uni.

Pls I have an access to a car that has general insurance on it. I also got an international driver's license from Nigeria before I left.

Pls what is left for me to be able to drive the car without issues. Someone was telling me that I still have to get some insurance and that it would be expensive cos I am an immigrant.

Pls I want to know what else is left of me to be eligible to drive and covered. I don't want to flaut rules, I no want wahala.

Pls what are the costs too. I can't find tangible info on the internet.

Anyone with experience of driving in the UK with the Nigerian international Driver's licence should pls throw light.

Yes you can drive in the UK with your Nigerian licence for a year and you need an insurance or be named on the policyholder's insurance policy.

I’m not misleading anyone. I’m saying the right thing. That was what I used in calculating the amount I needed in my bank account. I have my visa.
What will I gain in misleading? Please don’t attack someone like that next time.

If you can get a domiciliary account that would be fine. I made my payments today. Buy dollars and pay the dollars into the domiciliary account.

My family member was a family of 3 . Their money was just at the dot with about a 100 naira over the required.

Based on how you stated it then they would not have gotten the visa but the other way it was at the total with 100naira extra. .....

Anyway no one works in the embassy to confirm for sure...... so easily the VO can state as well you need xx pounds and then put that in to see how much is that in naira. .... Since that rate is higher then I guess no harm doing it that way to ensure you have adequate coverage

I just calculated my IHS fee now and it's £705. Does this mean what I'm paying in total is £1053?

Please when making visa application payments, let’s say my IHS fee is £705, standard visa fee is £348, when or how does the priority visa fee of £220 come in (let’s say I’m interested in the priority service)? Is it gonna be paid in addition to the standard £348 visa fee?
