The call for #EndSARS victims to come forward to testify is beginning to yield success. In the wake of the Lagos Judicial Panel of Inquiry sitting, more victims from the Lekki tollgate shootings are now speaking up.

ARISE correspondent Ozi Okoli has the story.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMxabR4n6K4

Edwin Augustine: A victim, Mr Augustine recalls how the light went off and soldiers started shooting and how a guy was shot by the side. While checking the guy that was shot, he also got shot in his thigh. (He showed where he was shot)
He said he passed out and woke up the next day at the Ikeja General hospital. Edwin Augustine said he wonders why the government said they didn't shoot at them while he still has the bullets in his body.

Another victim and his father also narrated their experiences. The father said he met his son in hospital after the shooting, that he couldn't open his eyes and couldn't talk to him. He displayed the X-ray they did.

The son said he wasn't protesting, that he was with his friend at the Lekki Tollgate when the shootings started and he got shot.

Dead Victim's Younger Sister Speaks: In tears, Olufunmi Ayedungbe spoke on behalf of her brother, Gabriel Ayola, who died from the protest. She revealed that her late brother was shot in the head. She recalled how her brother died at the hospital, saying that he couldn't talk and that he was fed through the nose.

From the injury on the first two people that was interviewed,it's quite obvious it was not the shootings from the Soldiers. An AK-47 riffle would have done more damage than that. So it's safe to say the shots was from their cohorts trying to retaliate by shooting at the soldier's.

To the lady that claimed she lost her brother to the Lekki toll gate shooting, may his soul rest in perfect peace.

I'm sure her case will be part of what would be looked at by Judicial Panel in Lagos to see if her claim was true and if it was actually the soldier's that shot him.

But our big belly politicians and the useless army said that there was no shooting.

Honestly, people don't fear God anymore and the love for humanity has gone into extinction for long.

My prayer is that God will vindicate the victims and judge those involved in the shooting.

Nigeria needs mercy to be honest.

We are not disputing shooting at Lekki, we are not disputing there are no casualties, what we are disputing are

1. Army shot directly at protesters

2. That there was nothing like Massacre at Lekki

Let the judicial panel do their jobs and hope those indicted would be prosecuted

You are the one not making any reasonable comments.

Stop using God's name to gain likes and shares on NL.

CNN was right all along. Now more people are still coming out to tell their story of sorrow, tears, maiming, bloodshed and deaths, yet some deluded & wicked people were vehemently denying that the atrocities including killings/massacre didnt happen.

Even if a soul was killed, it means life was senselessly lost which should have not occurred in the first instance. Whatever, the truth must be reveal.Providence & God will surely punish all who have a hand & supported this evil.It will never be well with you all.
