Being successful in life is hard, it is not a smooth ride. They are many ups and downs. A lot of obstacles are on the way to derail an individual from being successful. Some of this obstacles can be avoided, but the pleasures derived from them will continually cage their culprit - leaving them helpless. Numerous pleasures and gratification can be derived from those obstacles (let's not talk about witches and wizard or bad luck - I'm talking about our personal choices). However, they are destiny delayers and killers. I referred to those obstacles as distractions.

Distractions comes in different or many forms and with my experience in life, I was able to recognize them, the pleasure offered by them are very pleasant to the brain and the body, and like I mentioned above, they are destiny killers. As we go further, you'll see those distractions, it is very necessary to avoid them, in order to have a great future or to be successful in any life's endeavors.

To be honest, it is very hard to avoid those distractions, but if you can avoid them often, with time, you'll not find it difficult to avoid them.

Very true bro. Expecially that drug, it will Make an individual to feel good or sad thereby worrying less about what is supposed to be put in place for better future.

Apart from distractions, they are other things to be considered in order to be successful in life (academics, marital, career, work, school work etc.), nonetheless, distraction is one of the main reasons why some people do fail in their respective endeavors. So, when an individual is able to avoid distraction, all the things needed to be successful will naturally fall in place.

When I was learning how to design an ebook cover at first, I was distracted by many thoughts, porn, movies, football, betting etc. But I started seeing changes when I avoided the above distractions. Now I can design any cover, because I avoided the distraction to watch movies when I'm supposed to learn how to design a cover.

KEY TO SUCCESS
Below are some ways to be successful in anything you do. With my small experience in life, I was able to know them and some of them were gotten from my mentor (you all know him). I'm not going to explain, I will just list them;

1. Never giving up no matter what

2. Endurance to pain

3. Hard / Smart Work

4. Skills Mastery

5. Patience (even when you see zero result)

6. Time management (very important, but we are all guilty of this at times)

7. Taking Action

8. A Plan

9. A deadline

10. Taking your mind off some things (distraction and quick gratification)

11. Repetition of success

12. Persistency and consistency

13. Optimism

14. Do away with addiction like smoking, drinking, eating junk and sugary food (health success). If you must do the above, try to do them in moderation.

15. Don't be lazy

And last but not the least - connection ..

I just checked my dashboard, I discovered that I made a sale after a month of not making a dime - guess what? I made my first paperback sale and I also got a five star review (rating) on the said book, but no customer review yet.
